The NEET PG 2025 exam date is announced as 15th June 2025 (tentative) as per the recent notification of National Medical Commission (NMC).
The conducting body will begin the online registrations for NEET PG 2025 probably in the 3rd Week of April 2025. The last date for online registrations is expected to be in the 2nd Week of May 2025.

The NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria is as per the National Medical Commission (NMC). In order to be eligible for appearing in NEET PG 2025 exam, the aspiring candidates must possess an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognised by NMC, along with a provisional / permanent registration certificate of MBBS provided by NMC. Moreover, the aspirants must have completed / about to complete a 1-year Internship prior to the cut-off date as specified by the authorities.
It is to be noted that there is no upper age limit for appearing in the entrance test. OCI and Foreign Nationals along with Indian students and NRIs can also appear in the NEET PG 2025 exam if they fulfill all the eligibility conditions.
Candidates who are aspiring to take admission in MD / MS / PG Diploma / Post MBBS DNB / Direct 6-year DrNB or NBEMS Diploma course are required to register for NEET PG. The registrations for NEET PG 2025 will commence tentatively from the 3rd Week of April 2025. It is required for the aspirants to complete NEET PG 2025 Registration before the 2nd Week of May 2025.
The registration for NEET PG exam 2025 can be done only in online mode through its official website i.e., “natboard.edu.in”. The NEET PG 2025 syllabus will be prepared by the conducting body (NBEMS). It will be releasing the syllabus on its official website i.e., “natboard.edu.in soon. As per the official authorities of the exam, the syllabus will be designed according to the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India.

NEET PG 2025 is an Online CBT - Computer-Based Test, conducted only in English language. The exam is conducted for a duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. The question paper is framed on the basis of three parts such as Pre-Clinical, Para Clinical and Clinical.
As per NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 MCQs of total 800 marks. The candidate will gain 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect response. There will be no deduction of marks for un-attempted questions.

NEET PG 2025 Admit Card will be released tentatively in the 4th Week of June 2025. Registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of NBEMS. Aspirants will be notified about the availability of their admit card through email or SMS. It is to be noted that the admit card will not be sent by email or post.
The admit card of the candidates will contain essential information such as location of the exam centre allotted to them, time slot, items that are permitted in the test center, etc.
* If any candidate has submitted more than 1 online application form for NEET PG 2025, then NBEMS (the conducting body) will issue the admit card only to the one with a higher order of application number and will cancel the other application(s) without any refund of fee.

Note: OCI / Indian Citizens who have acquired the primary medical qualification outside India and qualified Foreign Medical Graduate Examination are required to bring the original FMGE passing certificate that is issued on the letterhead of NBEMS. Foreign Nationals are also required to carry their passport to the test centre.
Aspiring candidates who seek admission in specified PG medical courses through NEET PG 2025 are advised to solve the previous year question papers on a frequent basis, during their test preparation phase. Solving the NEET PG Previous Year Question Papers will help the students to assess their strong & weak areas.

NBEMS, the conducting body of NEET PG 2025 exam will not be releasing any content of the answer key due to some confidential reasons. The students can check the answer key released by the participating institutes (if any). The answer key consists of correct answers for all the questions that are asked in the exam paper. So, it is useful for the candidates as it helps them analyse how well they have performed in the exam.
As per the past year analysis, the NEET PG 2025 Result will be declared by NBEMS in the 3rd Week of July 2025 (tentative). The candidates will be able to download their NEET PG 2025 score card / result from the official website of the conducting body i.e., “natboard.edu.in”. The result of NEET PG is valid only for the current admission session (2025-2026) and it cannot be carried forward to the further sessions.
Prior to result declaration, the candidates can challenge any question for technical errors with supportive literature within only 2 days of the examination date. The result of NEET PG 2025 will include crucial information like the roll number, subject-wise scores, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), etc. Candidates must download and take a print out of the result for future reference.
* It is to be noted that requests for re-evaluation or re-checking of the answers will not be entertained after the declaration of result in any case.
The NEET PG 2025 Cut-off will be released expectedly in the 3rd Week of August 2025. The cut-off will provide an overview of the minimum score required to qualify NEET PG exam 2025 in order to get admission in PG medical courses through the rank achieved in the test.

The counselling for NEET PG 2025 will be held by the Medical Council Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Government of India. The registrations for NEET PG 2025 Counselling will need to be done by the qualified students as per the details they have filled in the application form of NEET PG 2025 exam. Details such as mobile number, email address, etc. in the registration form of counseling are required to be the same as details filled in the application form for the exam.
There are certain documents required to be submitted at the time of counseling such as Rotating Resident Internship Completion Certificate, Documentary Proof of Registration with NMC, and other applicable documents. After the counselling process, MCC will release the NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotment results once the candidates list their preference of the course / Institute for admission.

* Candidates who will qualify NEET PG 2025 exam as per the prescribed cut-off criteria but are not eligible for counseling on 50% seats of All India Quota will be selected for counseling on State Quota Seats.
