Academic Qualifications
Students must have passed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) awarded by an Indian University, with respect to a recognised Dental College under Section 10 (2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or any other equivalent examination recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI).
* At any time, if authorities find that the BDS degree is not recognised, the candidature / result of the student will be cancelled.
Internship
Candidates must have completed a 1-year compulsory rotatory Internship on or before the stipulated date prescribed by the NBEMS i.e., 31st March 2025.
* Students who are undergoing the Internship need to submit a certificate specifying that they will be completing the Internship before the stipulated date.
Registration
Aspirants need to be registered with the State Dental Council (SDC) and obtain the provisional / permanent registration on or before the prescribed date which is 31st March 2025.
Nationality
Indian Citizens, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO), and Non OCI Foreign Nationals are eligible for the NEET MDS exam 2025.
