* State-listed OBC-NCL candidates who do not come under OBC-NCL (Central List) have to opt for the General category.
Before beginning with the registration, candidates must check the NEET eligibility criteria 2025 so that they know the minimum requirements they need to fulfil in order to appear for the entrance test.
Candidates need to follow the below-given steps for NEET UG registration 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website “neet.nta.nic.in”.
Step 2: Go to the new candidate registration tab, then read the instructions and press the ‘click here to proceed’ button.
Step 3: Select the circle of an Identity type from options such as Aadhaar card / Digilocker ID / Academic Bank of Credits ID / Passport / PAN Card.
Step 4: Enter the ID Number as mentioned in the ID card selected by the candidate and then click on ‘Generate OTP’.
Step 5: Afterwards, enter the received OTP and click on ‘Validate OTP’.
Step 6: A registration page can be seen on the screen where candidates have to fill the below mentioned details:
Step 7: Click on the ‘Submit’ tab. Then, a submission page with the auto-filled information will appear; candidates have to select the ‘check box’ and click on ‘Submit and Send OTP’.
Step 8: A Confirmation page will appear on the screen; click on ‘Yes’ and enter the OTP that is sent to the registered E-Mail ID with Security pin.
* After completing the above-mentioned steps successfully, a registration number will be sent to the registered E-mail ID which will be required for subsequent login purposes.
Post registration, the candidates can follow the below-given step-by-step process to fill the NEET UG 2025 application form:
Step 1: Log-in with the application number, password and security pin. Then, click on the ‘Complete Application Form’ tab that will be redirected to the auto-filled Contact Detail page.
* The information entered at the time of registration can be changed only before the final submission of the application form (except Mobile Number and E-mail ID)
Step 2: Select the ‘I Agree’ checkbox. Then, click the ‘Save & Next’ button and proceed.
Step 3: Fill-in the following required information:
* Basic Personal details such as Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth Gender, etc. will be auto-filled after registration.
* Candidates appearing in class 12th in 2025 have to opt for Code (01) and those who have qualified the final examination have to choose Code from (02 to 07).
Step 4: Click on the ‘Save & Next’ tab. Afterwards, candidates have to upload the documents such as Photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression and other required certificates in prescribed format.
Step 5: Complete the application procedure by paying the required exam fees via any of the online modes including Debit or Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Step 6: A confirmation page will appear on the screen after the fee payment; candidates can download the same and take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.
* After completing the NEET registration 2025, candidates can start the preparation for entrance test on the basis of Syllabus and NEET exam pattern 2025.

The correction window is predicted to be opened by the 2nd Week of April 2025 by the authorities on the official website i.e., “exams.nta.ac.in/NEET”.
