Academic Qualifications

The NCHMCT JEE exam eligibility criteria states that the students must have completed 12^th class / equivalent examination. Additionally, they must have studied English as one of the Core / Elective / Functional subjects in 10+2.

Special Notes to Consider

In accordance with the NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria 2025, the exams that are considered equivalent to the 12^th class are as follows:

• 10+2 pattern from CBSE / State Board of Secondary Education / Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE).
• Intermediate / 2-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level.
• High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
• Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a Foreign country recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as State Board of Open Schooling with a minimum of 5 subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
• HSC Vocational Examination recognised by NCVT and SCVT of concerned State / Union Territory.

Age Limit

According to the NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 which is prescribed by the exam conducting body - National Testing Agency (NTA), there is no restriction on age limit which means no minimum & maximum age limit is specified.

For Central Educational Institutions (CEIs)

• In accordance with the NCHMCT JEE exam eligibility criteria, the seat reservation criteria for the Institutes run by the Central Government are given in detail below:

• 5% seats will be reserved in each category for the PwD students having 40% or more disability as per the Section 2(r) of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
• One seat will be reserved on a super numerary basis in every Central Institute for the wards of the Kashmiri Migrants & for the Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindu families (Non-Migrants) that reside in the Kashmir Valley.

For State Educational Institutions

In the Institutes run / aided / recognised by the State Governments, reservation to the students will be given as per the reservation policies of the respective State Government.

It is important for the students to know that if they do not meet all conditions specified in the NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria 2025, they cannot apply for the entrance test.
