• Qualified Class 12^th / equivalent in respective discipline.
• No minimum and maximum age limit.

The MHT CET Syllabus 2025 will be similar to the Class 11th & 12th syllabus (set by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra) but not identical. The exam authorities set the question paper on the basis of the MHT CET syllabus, around 20% weightage is given to the Class 11th syllabus and remaining 80% is to the Class 12th curriculum.

Every year, Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, the exam conducting body sets the MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025. The exam is conducted online in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. There are 2 groups i.e, PCB and PCM; eligible students can select any one of the groups as per their desired course for admission. Students who choose the PCM group are required to solve 150 questions in the exam. Whereas, a candidate who opt for a PCB group needs to attempt 200 questions. The entire paper of PCB / PCM carries a total of 200 Marks.

As per the exam pattern, the upcoming test question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration to solve each paper is 90 Minutes and the total time for a particular exam is 180 Minutes (3 Hours). Following are the 3 papers along with their marking scheme:

The exam conducting body will release an official notification about the MHT CET Admit Card 2025 on “cetcell.mahacet.org”. The admit card for both groups i.e, PCB and PCM are most likely to be released in April 2025. Registered students need to navigate the exam's official website with the login credentials to download the admit card.

To enter the examination hall, it is compulsory for the candidates to carry the hard copy of their admit card for the verification reasons. Candidates should know that they will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card.

The exam is conducted at various cities in the Maharashtra state and in a few cities in other states. At the time of filling the online application form, candidates need to list their preferred cities from the available MHT CET Exam Centres 2025. Every year, the exam authorities prepare mock tests with the test pattern as same as the actual MHT CET exam. It is suggested to the students to practise mock tests a few days before the actual exam as it will help them in self assessment.

Once the exam is concluded, the exam authorities will upload a MHT CET Answer Key 2025 on the test’s official website for both PCB and PCM groups. The Maharashtra State CET Cell (the exam conducting body) is expected to declare the MHT CET Result 2025 in the fourth week of June 2025 for both groups (PCM & PCB).

As soon as the authorities announce the result, candidates must navigate the result URL which will be available on the official website of the exam. After that, students will have to log in with the registered email ID and password to check the result. Through the result, students will get to know about their marks secured in the exam, qualifying rank, etc.

The Maharashtra State Cell will issue the MHT CET Cut Off 2025 list after the exam result is announced. Through the cut-off list, students will be able to check the minimum percentile marks required to get admission in courses like B.E / B.Tech , B.Pharm, B.Plan, Integrated M.E / M.Tech, and Pharm.D under their desired universities / institutes accepting MHT CET score. The cut off list includes various information including course, category, college, cutoff, etc.

The MHT CET Counselling Process 2025 will be started by its conducting body in online mode on “cetcell.mahacet.org”. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is the counselling process for the MHT CET exam which is conducted in three rounds.

Students who want to register for the counselling need to ensure that they have passed the MHT CET 2025 exam. Candidates who do not register for the selection process will not be able to get admission in their desired institutes.

Through the selection process, candidates will be allotted a seat in one of the participating Universities / Institutes. Once the MHT CET Seat Allotment 2025 is done, candidates must report to their allotted University / Institute.
