MET is popularly known as Manipal Entrance Test (formerly known as MU OET). MAHE - Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts the Entrance Exam at the University Level for offering admission in various UG, PG, Diploma, PGDM programs and others. The MET 2025 exam is conducted once every year in around 25 states of India and in Dubai. It is a 2 hour exam that is held via online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in English medium.

Manipal Entrance Exam (MET) is held by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The exam is held for offering admission in the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated Programs (IP), PG Certificate, Diploma, PGDM, Advanced PG Diploma, Ph.D Programs, Lateral Entry, etc. like B.Tech, BBA, M.Sc (Clinical Psychology), M.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, etc. in the constituent units of MAHE.

Registration for the MET 2025 entrance exam is open. Aspirants who satisfy the eligibility criteria are advised to fill the MET 2025 Registration form via online mode only before 15th March 2025.

MET 2025 is conducted in 3 phases. MET exam date 2025 for the 1st phase will tentatively be in the 3rd week of April 2025 and the 2nd phase will be conducted expectedly in the 4th week of May 2025. The tentative date for the 3rd phase is yet to be announced. Phase 1 will be conducted in 2 time slots.

The syllabus of MET 2025 is designed by its conducting body i.e., Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). It is crucial for the students to be well versed with the MET 2025 Syllabus since the exam paper is set on the basis of the topics & sub-topics given in the official syllabus.

* The MET Syllabus 2025 for every course is different; students are required to check the subjects included in the specific program’s syllabus for which they have opted.
It must be noted that the exam pattern of MET 2025 is different for various programs for which the test is conducted. Students should be familiar with the MET 2025 Exam Pattern of their chosen course in order to avoid any confusion on the actual exam day.
As per the exam pattern of MET 2025, in every course, each question carries 4 marks. The duration of the courses is as follows:

For B.Tech
As per the exam pattern, there will be 2 types of questions asked namely, MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) & NAT (Numerical Answer Type) which will be for a total of 240 marks. There will be a total of 60 questions overall including the subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. For MCQs, -1 mark for every wrong answer will be subtracted. There will be no negative marking for unanswered questions.
For BBA
The test will be of 400 total marks wherein, students will be required to answer 100 MCQs overall in the subjects such as Numeracy, Conceptual, English, General Awareness, and Reading Comprehension. There will be -1 negative marking for each incorrect answer and no negative marking for unattempted questions.

After submitting the Registration Form, students are required to book their preferred slots for the 1st / 2nd attempt. MAHE will open the window for MET 2025 Slot Booking wherein applicants will be required to book their preferred Date & Batch they wish to take the MET 2025 Entrance Test on. Students can follow the below-given steps to book their slots:
* Here, “Payment for 2nd attempt” will be displayed on the screen for candidates who are booking the slot for 2nd attempt. Here, the students will have to make the necessary payment & later book the slot.
Students who wish to book the slot for 2nd attempt must be aware of the following conditions:
* The slots will be allotted to the students on a first come first serve basis subject to the number of seats available.
* Without booking the slot beforehand, students will not be eligible to appear for the entrance test. Moreover, Students are not allowed to change the slots once booked.

There are certain guidelines that are supposed to be compulsorily followed by the appearing candidates on the MET 2025 exam date. Students can go through the guidelines discussed below to avoid any problems on the exam day:
Students who aspire to score good marks in the MET 2025 must solve the MET Previous Year Question Papers as it will boost their preparation level for the test. MET 2025 exam will be conducted by MAHE i.e., Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
As per the announcement done by the conducting body (MAHE), the registration window for MET exam 2025 is open till 15th March 2025.
Students who will qualify the MET Entrance Test will be eligible to take admission in the constituent units of MAHE- Manipal Academy of Higher Education, which are present in multiple locations, all over India.
While filling in the registration form for the MET exam, candidates can select 3 exam centres in the order of their preference.
MET 2025 test will be held via online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode, wherein students will be required to answer MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and NAT (Numerical Answer Type) format of questions, as applicable according to the respective programs.
As per the guidelines of MAHE, students must carry a hardcopy of e-hall ticket, and a valid identity card (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Passport / ECI Voter ID Card / Driving License / School or College photo bearing ID card) to the MET test centre on the exam day.
Students who have applied for MET 2025 before the registration due date can apply for the 2nd attempt in Phase 2. For this, additional Rs. 1400/- are required to be paid.
