Nationality
To apply for the LPUNEST exam, candidates must be an Indian Citizen.

- Secured at least 60% marks in 10 + 2 with PCM and English or its equivalent.
- Valid LPUNEST Score.

- Passed 10 + 2 with English and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
|
- Qualified Class 12th with English and secured minimum 60% marks or any other equivalent examination.

|
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc in Zoology)
|
- Passed 10 + 2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and obtained at least 60% marks.
|
|
Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
|
- Qualified Class 12th with English and obtained at least 90% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
OR
- Passed the above-stated examination with 50% marks or equivalent, if candidates have qualified LPUNEST / UCEED / NID DAT (Prelims) or NIFT Entrance test or NIFT B.FTech.

Master of Technology (M.Tech)

- Obtained at least 80% marks in B.Tech in Biotechnology / Food Technology / Chemical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering or B.Pharm or M.Sc in Biosciences or its equivalent.
OR
- Passed any one of the above-mentioned qualifying examinations with minimum 55% marks if students have passed LPUNEST / GATE with valid score.

Special Notes to Consider
Regarding the eligibility criteria of LPUNEST, following are some special points which aspirants need to consider:
- In the above-mentioned qualifying examination of different courses, 5% relaxation in marks is available for North East-states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
- For above-given UG courses, candidates who have not passed English as a subject in the qualifying examination but have studied in the English medium will be eligible for the LPUNEST exam 2025. As for these students, the condition of English as a subject will be remitted.
