The applicants of the KEAM 2025 exam need to prepare well in order to ensure that they get good results. Considering the below-mentioned tips will assist the candidates in elevating their level of KEAM 2025 Preparation:
The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala i.e., the exam conducting body has prescribed some guidelines for the students which need to be followed on the exam day. Otherwise, strict actions can be taken against the ones who violate these.
Some of the exam day guidelines of KEAM 2025 are as follows:
The KEAM Previous Year Question Papers refers to the sample exam papers. The past year exam papers of KEAM are based on the same syllabus and paper pattern. So, aspirants preparing for the upcoming Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical (KEAM) Entrance exam should solve the previous year papers in order to become more familiar with the test.
The past year KEAM papers aid the students with knowing the type of questions they can expect in the KEAM 2025 exam paper, the difficulty level of the MCQs, the applicable negative marking, and many other aspects. Solving the sample papers will also help the students in elevating their level of exam preparation, refining their problem solving skills and abilities to manage time so that they can complete all the questions within allotted exam time.
On the exam day, before the actual exam time gets started, the students will get to have a mock test (familiarisation session) on their system screen. It is to make the students familiar with the exam pattern and to make them comfortable so that they can perform well when the actual test begins.
The KEAM 2025 Mock Test will be of 15 minutes and the students will be automatically redirected to this familiarisation session. After this mock test ends, the students will again be redirected to a new page of the actual exam where they can begin with the actual KEAM 2025 exam.
Once the KEAM exam is conducted successfully, after a few days, the authorities will release the Answer Keys of both the engineering and pharmacy exam on the official website i.e., “cee.kerala.gov.in”. The answer keys will comprise the correct answers of all the questions which were there in the KEAM 2025 exam paper. Students can match the correct answers with the ones they have marked in the exam. This will help them get an idea of the estimated marks they can achieve in the exam result.
If the students find anything wrong in the answer key released by the authorities, they can challenge it by paying Rs.100/- per question but it can be done only within the five days from the date when the answer key gets released. The payment needs to be made through a Demand Draft (DD) in the name of CEE which needs to be payable at Thiruvananthapuram. If the authorities find the complaint / challenge genuine, the students’ fee paid for the same will be refunded and a fresh answer key with modifications will be uploaded on the official website.
After the final answer key gets released, the authorities will make the exam result available on the official website. The exam officials are expected to announce the KEAM 2025 Result in or prior the 4th Week of June 2025.
In order to check the result and download the score card, students will need to navigate “cee.kerala.gov.in” and enter their login credentials. Afterwards, students will be able to download the score card which will contain their subject-wise and overall marks. The downloaded score card must be kept by the students with themselves for future use at the time of admission.
The KEAM 2025 Cut off for both the engineering and pharmacy exams of KEAM will be prepared by the authorities and on its basis, the rank list will be released on the exam’s official website. Once the results are out, the authorities will make the rank lists available separately for different courses which are expected to be out by the 3rd week of July 2025.
Students must know that the cut-off decided by the authorities is a benchmark for the students and if they score below it, they will not pass the exam. The cut-off is decided on the basis of various factors such as the number of students who appeared for the exam, the highest marks scored by a candidate, exam’s difficulty level, etc.
Once the results are out, cut-off is declared, and the rank lists get released, the Counselling process will begin. The students who have secured a rank in the list released by the authorities will be eligible to take part in the KEAM 2025 Counselling process. Candidates get a chance to register options of their desired Colleges from which they will be allotted one by the authorities. Seat allotment in a college is done on the basis of CAP i.e., Centralised Allotment Process which is an important part of the Counselling / Selection through KEAM ranks.
KEAM 2025 Seat Allotment of the students will be strictly based on the preferences provided by the students, the rank achieved in the exam, and any reservation for which they are eligible. If the seat is allotted to a student and he / she fails to join the College, the allotted seat will be lost by the candidate. So, while listing the preferred college options, students must list only those for which they are sure. The whole Counselling process will be done through a Single Window System (SWS).
There are various Government / Aided / Self financing institutions which accept admission through KEAM. The exam is conducted only for Engineering and Pharmacy streams but the admission for other courses such as medical & allied programs etc. are also done through KEAM CAP. So, various colleges of the Kerala state take admission in all of these courses on the basis of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Exam’s allotment process.
