JEECUP 2025: Exam Date (20-28th May), Registration (Ongoing), Eligibility, Syllabus, and More

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has begun the UPJEE(P) / JEECUP registration 2025 from 15th January 2025 and will continue till 30th April 2025. The registration & application process of the UPJEE(P) exam is Online on its official website. Once the registration is over, the authorities will be opening the application form correction window from 1st May 2025 to 6th May 2025.

As per the official notification of the exam conducting body, the JEECUP exam date 2025 for all groups is 20th May 2025 - 28th May 2025. Registered candidates will be able to download the JEECUP Admit Card 2025 from 14th May 2025 onwards by visiting the exam’s official website.

The authorities will open the JEECUP 2025 answer key objection window from 2nd June 2025 to 4th June 2025. Through this window, students can challenge the answer key, in case, if they find any discrepancies in it. The JEECUP Result 2025 will be declared on the 10th June 2025 by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. In order to check the result (once released), candidates need to login with the required credentials on the official website of the exam.

JEECUP is an entrance exam conducted for Polytechnic courses in online CBT mode. It is a State-level exam which is held once annually in Uttar Pradesh for the admissions into polytechnic courses.

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination i.e., UPJEE(P) is conducted by JEECUP - Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh for the admission into the Polytechnic courses that are offered by Private, Aided and Government colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

The exam is held in different course groups which are A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, and K1 to K8. The registration form of the exam will be made available by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh on the exam’s official website “jeecup.admissions.nic.in”.

Below-given are the important dates and schedule related to the JEECUP exam 2025 that must be noted by the candidates:

Applicants must meet the JEECUP 2025 Eligibility Criteria according to which the minimum qualification is completed 10^th / 12^th / Diploma, in accordance with the courses chosen by the candidates. Moreover, the candidate must be an Indian National and should not be less than 14 years old. Also the students must meet the medical standards as required by the specific course.

In order to appear for the JEECUP 2025, before proceeding for the application, candidates have to fulfil the exam eligibility requirements as per the respective groups, prescribed by the exam conducting authority.

The JEECUP 2025 Registration comprises a detailed step-by-step process in which students need to firstly register, fill the application form, upload the documents, and pay the applicable fees. The application form can be filled through online mode only on the official website “jeecup.admissions.nic.in”. In order to appear for the entrance exam, candidates must complete the process of registration / application.

In the online application form, students have to fill all the asked personal and academic details along with category, sub-category, course group, exam centres and other information. Moreover, candidates have to pay the application fee online through any one of the Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI modes.

The exam conducting body has mentioned various groups, out of which candidates have to select the desired groups at the time of filling the application form. The groups have been formed on the basis of  different courses.

*Students can apply for all the groups from A to I, K & L. If the students want to apply for more than one group, then they have to submit the application for each group separately. It is to be noted that every student can fill a maximum of 4 application forms.

The subjects given in the JEECUP 2025 Syllabus are based on the curriculum of PUC level. The curriculum of JEECUP 2025 is different for various groups, so the aspirants have to prepare on the basis of the respective groups they have applied for.

As per the JEECUP 2025 Exam Pattern, the entrance test will be conducted for 2 Hours and 30 Minutes in the English and Hindi language. The test will consist of 100 objective type questions in which each question will have 4 options.

Moreover, in JEECUP 2025 there will be no negative marking for attempting wrong answers. Candidates appearing for the UPJEE(P) / JEECUP exam 2025 are advised to refer to the exam pattern prescribed by the authority. While filling the application form, along with the other information, applicants will get a chance to choose the exam centres. Aspirants can choose a maximum of 4 exam centres of their choice.

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh will be responsible to allot the exam centres for all the course groups (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L and K1 to K8) across the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. No request for change will be entertained in the exam centres that are allotted by the exam authority.

On the main examination day of UPJEE(P) / JEECUP 2025, candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned exam day guidelines:

• It is advised that candidates must reach the test centre 2 hours before the beginning of the exam to complete the biometric registration.
• Candidates must not bring any writing material with them in the exam hall except the black / blue transparent ball pen.
• Any electronic device such as a calculator, mobile phones, or communication equipment is strictly not allowed in the examination hall.
• Students must have their admit card along with their aadhaar card and other valid documents that are required at the time of verification before entering the exam hall.
• Any kind of communication is strictly prohibited in the exam room, if found not following the instructions, then strict actions will be taken against the student.
