The exam is conducted to secure admission in IITs for one of the UG courses, dual degrees, and integrated courses in Engineering, Planning, and Architecture streams. The JEE Advanced 2025 registration process for both Indian and Foreign / OCI / PIO candidates is different. The online registration for Indian candidates will be considered on the basis of the qualified ranks in JEE Main 2025. Whereas, OCI / PIO / Foreign National candidates can apply in JEE Advanced through the direct registration process.

The JEE Advanced registration fee is set by the exam authority. The payment of application fees can be done via any one of the following methods:

* For OCI / PIO Card holder candidates, the card must be issued before 04-03-2021.

The JEE Advanced 2025 registration procedure is divided into the below-given steps which Indian candidates need to follow for successful registration:

Account Credential Generation

Before filling the application form, Indian candidates have to authenticate themselves by entering the following details as mentioned in their JEE (Main) admit card:

• JEE (Main) Application Number
• Applicant’s Name
• Date of Birth

After the verification, candidates will get an OTP on their registered Mobile Number and Email ID. After the validation of OTP, candidates need to generate the password for further login.

Step 1: Visit the official website “jeeadv.ac.in” of the JEE Advanced exam 2025 and login with the given JEE (Main) application number & generated password.

Step 2: After successful login, candidates have to fill the application form with all the personal and qualification details along with additional information such as preference of up to 8 exam cities and others.

Step 3: After completing the application form filling procedure, scan and upload the required documents in prescribed format only.

Step 4: The final step after uploading the documents is to pay the registration fees. The registration for JEE Advanced 2025 will be completed only after the payment of fees.

* Candidates registering for JEE Advanced 2025 must meet the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2025 before filling the registration form.

The exam authority has divided the direct registration into 3 major steps for Foreign Nationals / OCI / PIO candidates:

Step 1: Visit the exam’s official website “jeeadv.ac.in” to fill the online registration form and remember the Login ID & Password for subsequent login.

Step 2: After filling-in the required information in the form, upload the scanned documents that are required in the prescribed format only.

Step 3: The next step is to pay the applicable registration fees.

* It is to be noted that the admit card will be issued only after completing all the steps of JEE Advanced 2025 registration. It is applicable for both Indian and Foreign students.

Following are the required certificates that need to be uploaded by the candidates at the time of registration. Students must upload the following documents in the prescribed manner:

For Indian Nationals

Indian candidates have to upload all the documents in the PDF format only and the file size should be in between minimum 50 KB to 300 KB maximum.

Indian students need to upload the following scanned documents at the time of registration:

• 10^th Passing Certificate or Birth Certificate
• 12^th Marksheet
• Category Certificate
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Scribe Request Letter (Amanuensis I & II - if applicable)
• Compensatory Time Request Letter (I & II)
• DS Certificate

For Foreign Nationals

Foreign candidates applying for JEE Advanced 2025 have to upload the following scanned certificates in the below-given format at the time of direct registration:

* The aspirants of JEE Advanced exam who have completed the registration procedure are advised to start the preparation on the basis of the exam syllabus and the JEE Advanced exam pattern 2025.

Below-mentioned are some important notes to consider in regards to the JEE Advanced 2025 registration:

• After the registration, any person can pay the fees on the behalf of the candidate by using their application number and date of birth. There is no requirement of using login credentials.
• If the PwD Candidates want to opt for scribe services, they need to do it at the time of JEE Advanced 2025 online registration. Also, such candidates have to upload the applicable certificate signed by the medical authority.

Change or Reset a Password:

There is a specific password policy as per the conducting body which is mentioned in the detail below:

• The log-in password must be up to 8 to 13 characters and must have at least one uppercase, lowercase alphabet, numeric value & special character.
• Candidates can change the passwords by signing in to the applicant’s portal and have to follow the instructions to set up a new password. The entered new password must be according to the policy. Candidates are advised to change the password in a frequent interval of time.
• In case, if the candidates forgot the password, they can reset it by any of the below-given options:
  • Using a verification code through SMS: Candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth; a verification code will be provided on the registered mobile number. By entering the code, they can reset their passwords.
  • Through a reset link via Email: Enter the application number and date of birth; an email will be sent on the registered Email-ID. Candidates have to follow the instructions to reset the new password.
