The official website of the JEE Advanced 2025 has been launched by the IIT Kanpur that is “www.jeeadv.ac.in”. The authorities have prescribed the JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria and syllabus on the official website of the test. The authorities have revised the JEE Advanced exam number of attempts limit from 3 times in 3 consecutive years to maximum of 2 times in 2 consecutive years.

 The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2025 exam date is last week of May 2025 (tentative). Once the candidates qualify the JEE Main 2025, they will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2025 to get admission in Engineering, Architecture, and Planning courses offered by IITs.

JEE Advanced is an Online - Computer Based Test which is conducted in English and Hindi medium / language. Every year, the JEE Advanced exam is conducted by any one of the Indian Institute of Technology’s (IITs).

Students should know that without meeting the JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria, they cannot apply for the test. To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025, students need to ensure that they have met the below-given eligibility criteria set by the IIT Kanpur:

• Performance in JEE Main 2025: Must be in the top 2.5 lakh candidates in Paper 1 (For B.E / B.Tech paper) of JEE Main 2025.
• Academic Qualification: Qualified 10 + 2 in 2023 / 2024 / 2025 with PCM.
• Age Limit: Must have been born on 1^st October 2000 or after. (5% relaxation to SC, ST, and PwD candidates which means these students should have been born on 1^st October 1995 or after).
• Number of Attempts: Maximum 2 times in 2 consecutive years.
• Earlier Admission in IITs: Students must not have studied in any one of the IITs under any course which is listed in JoSAA Business Rules of 2024 or prior.

* Indian Citizens, Foreign Nationals, and OCI / PIO candidates are considered eligible for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.

Candidates who have met the eligibility criteria can proceed for the JEE Advanced 2025 Registration once it will be open. The JEE advanced exam 2025 registration and application process will begin expectedly in 4^th Week of April 2025 for JEE Main qualified candidates and possibly in 3^rd Week of April 2025 for OCI / PIO and Foreign candidates. The applications for the JEE Advanced 2025 will be filled only Online.

JEE Main qualified candidates are required to visit “jeeadv.nic.in” (the exam’s official website) and login with required credentials to fill in the details of the application form once it gets released. On the basis of JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern, the exam will be conducted in Online – Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The medium of the exam is Hindi and English, students can select both the languages. JEE Advanced has 2 papers that are Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper is conducted for a total of 180 Marks. The duration of each paper is 3 Hours; it is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both papers of JEE Advanced.

Candidates should know that the JEE Advanced 2025 Mock Test will assist the students to understand how the actual examination will be conducted. Students can solve the mock test to understand the exam pattern including the type of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam, and so on.

Once the authorities release the mock test, students can visit the exam’s official website i.e., “jeeadv.ac.in” and login with the required credentials. Practising with the mock tests will help candidates in analysing the level of their exam preparation.

Once the exam is successfully conducted, the authorities will declare the JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key expectedly in the 2^nd Week of June 2025. Aspirants can access the official answer key by logging with the required credentials on the official website of the test that is “jeeadv.ac.in”.

Firstly, the conducting body of the exam will upload the provisional answer key for both papers. Once the provisional answer key is released, candidates will be able to submit their feedback on the student’s portal, if any. Later on, after reviewing the candidate’s feedback, the authorities will display the final answer key possibly in the 3^rd Week of June 2025 before the result date. Students should know that once the final answer key is released, no further feedback will be entertained.

The JEE Advanced 2025 Result will be announced online on “jeeadv.ac.in” (exam’s official website) by the test conducting body i.e., IIT Kanpur. After the exam is over, the authorities will release the result expectedly in the 3^rd Week of June 2025.

As soon as the result gets declared, students need to click on the result URL available on the official website of the test and enter the registration number, date of birth, and mobile number to check their score / rank card. The JEE Advanced score card includes the paper-wise marks in individual subjects and total marks secured in the exam.

The exam conducting body is responsible for releasing the JEE Advanced 2025 Cut off list separately for different categories (reserved and unreserved). This list includes the minimum marks which students need to secure in the entrance exam to participate in the counselling / selection process. Candidates need to check the minimum cut-off criteria as per their category from the official website of the entrance exam which is “jeeadv.ac.in”.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Advanced 2025 Counselling process in online mode. Students who qualify the JEE Advanced minimum cut-off criteria are considered eligible for the counselling / selection.

JEE Advanced qualified candidates are required to register for the counselling process and lock their choices of courses & institutes from the listed options. Afterwards, JoSAA will release the JEE Advanced 2025 Seat Allotment results.
