IPU CET Exam Pattern 2025: Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

The IPU CET Exam Pattern 2025 states that the exam will be held in Online – Computer Based Test mode. The IPU CET marking scheme is set by the GGSIPU Delhi (exam conducting body) it comprises the criteria on the basis of which candidates’ scores in the exam are calculated. Students who will be appearing in the IPU CET exam 2025 which is supposed to be held from the Last Week of April 2025 to 3^rd Week of May 2025 should know the marking scheme which is as follows:

• Candidates will be granted 4 Marks for every right marked question (correct answer).
• For every incorrect answer, -1 Mark will be negatively marked.
• No minus / negative marking for unanswered / marked for review questions.

The GGSIPU Delhi i.e., the exam conducting provides special facilities such as scribe and compensatory time to the candidates of Persons with Disability (PwD) Category.

Scribe

The scribe facility is offered to the students belonging to the PwD category. As per the guidelines of the government, candidates with at least 40% of a specified disability can opt for their own scribe to mark responses in the exam on their behalf.

Students availing scribe facilities are required to submit the original medical certificate issued by the competent authority specifying their disability during the entry at the test centre.

Compensatory Time

All the PwD candidates will be provided with extra 50 Minutes as compensatory time in the IPU CET 2025 exam whether they are claiming the scribe facility or not.
