Educational Qualifications
Candidates need to align with the following academic requirements according to the program they are applying in:
- For UG courses: Students must have qualified Class 12th or its equivalent examination in respective disciplines.
- For PG courses: Aspirants need to pass a Bachelors degree / equivalent in the concerned stream.
Age Limit

- For UG courses (other than MBBS): The maximum age limit for the students is 21 years.
- For PG courses: Students’ age must not be beyond 35 years to be eligible for the IPU CET exam.

* Admission seats will be filled as per the merit in the IPU CET exam. However, if the seats still remain vacant after the CET merit, the admission will be done on the basis of respective entrance exams specified for different courses.

IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Special Notes to Consider
Candidates desirous to apply in the entrance exam can go through the below-given special points related to the IPU CET eligibility criteria 2025:
- Students belonging to the SC / ST / Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel / PwD category will be provided with 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks. This will be applicable according to the eligibility conditions of the IPU CET 2025 exam or as specified by the statutory body governing the programme of study, regardless of the fact whether any reservation is available for such candidates or not.
- To avail relaxation in the qualifying marks, candidates are required to submit the relevant supporting documents to the competent authority.
- Any student exceeding the upper age limit up to 5 years may provisionally apply / appear in the entrance exam. However, they need to submit a satisfactory explanation about the gap period with the required supporting documents to the admission officer.
