IPU CET Registration 2025: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is the conducting body is expected to begin the IPU CET Registration 2025 from the 1st Week of February 2025. The interested students can register till the Last Week of March 2025 (tentative). The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test will likely be conducted from the Last Week of April 2025 to 3rd Week of May 2025.

Students are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1500/- before submitting the application form. The applicants need to register online if they want to appear in the entrance examination.

The IPU CET exam 2025 registration fee is Rs. 1500/- for all the categories & courses. Students can make the payment through online mode only using any one of the listed below methods:

• Net Banking
• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• UPI

* In addition to the above-mentioned IPU CET 2025 examination fee, students have to pay the processing charges & GST as applicable by the concerned Bank / Payment Gateway Integrator.

Note: It is to be noted that once the registration fee is paid it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

It is the sole responsibility of the students to make certain that they meet the eligibility requirement laid down by the conducting authority before completing the IPU CET 2025 exam registration. Students need to register themselves before the Last Week of March 2025 (tentative) in order to appear for the entrance exam.

Step 1: Registration

First, students need to complete the initial registration with the process which is as follows:

• Navigate the official website i.e., “ipu.ac.in”.
• Go to the ‘Candidate Activity Board’ and click the “IPU Registration 2025”.
• Choose the “New Candidate Registration” option.
• Fill-in the correct information asked & create a User ID & Password as per the prescribed format.

* Already registered students can skip the Step 1 and directly process to log-in for filling-in the application form.

Step 2: Fill-in the IPU CET Application Form

Post registration, students are required to process to fill-in the exam application form with the process stated below:

• Click the “Apply Online” button on the official website.
• Log in using the generated User ID & Password, and enter the security pin as displayed on the screen.
• Fill-in the following details accurately in the Application Form:
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Name of Father / Mother
  • Date of Birth
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Region
• In the Qualifying Exam section, select Passed / Appearing from the options displayed.
• Fill in the details about Religion, Nationality, Mailing Address, and Test Centre.
  * The Test Centre cannot be changed once it has been allotted by the University.
  * Candidates will be allotted Delhi as the exam centre if the 1^st & 2^nd option for the test centre are not invoked / any other applicable reasons.
• Candidates are required to mention the visible mark of identification in the IPU CET Application Form.
  * It is mandatory to fill in all the fields in the application form.
• After filling in all the above-mentioned information, scan & upload the requisite image and documents as per the formats prescribed.

Step 3: Pay the Examination Fee

Below-mentioned is the process for paying the examination fee as it is important to complete the application:

• After carefully filling-in the application form, students have to pay Rs. 1500/- registration fee using one of the preferred online modes of payment as displayed on the screen.
• Once the fee payment is done, a Confirmation Page of the filled in online application form will be generated wherein the auto generated Application Number will be printed.

Important Points to Consider

Some of the guidelines to be followed while completing the IPU CET Registration 2025 which are discussed in detail below:

• A student can register for the IPU CET Exam 2025 only once. Even if a candidate wishes to apply for multiple courses, he / she has to fill the separate requisite application forms for each program using the same User ID & Password.
• Application forms of those students who have left it incomplete will be rejected.
• If students fall under any categories other than the SC / ST / OBC / EWS / UR / Physically Handicapped / Persons with Disability / J&K Migrant / Defence, in such a case, they will be considered under the General Category. If an applicant falls under more than 2 categories, they are allowed to select multiple options.
• If a student belongs to the General Category and has done the IPU CET Exam registration 2025 under a Reserved Category, his / her admission will only be valid if he / she has obtained a rank within the cutoff marks of the General Category.
• Candidates who have completed their respective qualifying exam from any College that is located in Delhi / Institute affiliated to the GGSIPP University (in Delhi / outside Delhi) then, they have to select the option “Delhi Region” under the Region section in the IPU CET application form. The remaining students have to select the “Outside Delhi” option in the form.
• Students who are Indian nationals are required to select the “Indian” option under the Nationality category or else select the “Others” option.
• At the end of the process, if the Confirmation Page does not get generated after the fee payment, the candidates have to get in touch with the concerned Bank / Payment Gateway. It is necessary for such students to confirm that their payment is successful / for obtaining the refund of multiple payments.

Candidates who have forgotten their User ID / Passwords after the IPU CET Registration 2025 can follow the below-given steps to retrieve the same:

Retrieve Password

The process to recover the IPU CET password is as follows:

• Navigate the official website “ipu.ac.in” & click the “Apply Online” button.
• For retrieving the password, click the “Forgot Password?” option.
• A new webpage will open where the students have to select the Examination they wish to appear in & the method using which they want to recover their password. It can be either by using an OTP via registered mobile number or by using a reset link that will be sent to the registered Email address.
• After selecting the preferred option, click the “Continue” button.
• Now, select the exam’s name & enter the User ID, Date of Birth, and the Security Pin displayed on the screen.
• Click the “Submit” option. An OTP / reset link will be sent to the candidate. He / she can now enter the needful & retrieve the password.

Retrieve the User ID / Application Number

The below-stated steps are to be followed for recovering the IPU CET User ID:

• On the Login Page, click the “Forgot User ID” option.
• A new webpage will open wherein the applicants have to select the examination, and enter details like the Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Gender & Security Pin.
• Now, click on the “Submit” button to complete the process for retrieving the User ID.

Students are advised to keep the following document ready before they start with the IPU CET Registration 2025:

• Candidate’s Passport Size Photograph (Recently clicked)
• Signature of the Appearing Student
• Bank Cancelled Cheque
• An Identity Proof
• Class 10^th & 12^th Marksheet
• Graduation & Post Graduation Marksheet (if any)
• Caste / Reservation Certificate, Minority Certificate, Physically Handicapped / Disability Certificate (if applicable)

The guidelines to scan & upload the applicable documents while filling-in the IPU CET 2025 application form are as follows:

Photograph

The instructions for uploading the candidate’s photograph is given below:

• The photograph of the candidate should have been clicked recently.
• The student has to click his / her photo against a white background without a mask, with 80% of his / her face visible including ears.
• Both black & white colored photographs are acceptable.

Some additional instructions to upload the documents are discussed below:

• The scanned photograph, signature, and the bank cancelled cheque must be clear & has to be uploaded in JPG format only.
• The requisite Certificates / Documents should be clicked clearly visible & must be uploaded as the PDF only.

Before proceeding with the IPU CET Registration 2025, students must make certain that they meet all the eligibility requirements that are prescribed by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (conducting body). According to the IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2025, both Indian & non-Indian candidates can apply for admission in the programs offered through the IPU CET 2025 exam.

Students desiring to take admission in the UG programs must be 12^th class qualified / equivalent in the requisite streams with the minimum prescribed marks & above. For the PG programs, aspirants must have completed Graduation / equivalent in the respective discipline with the specified marks & above.

Students applying for the UG courses (except MBBS) must not be more than 21 years old. The maximum age limit for applying for the PG program is 35 years.
