The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is conducted annually by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for offering admission to the students in various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D programs offered by the University, its constituent units & affiliated Colleges / Institutes, respectively.
The IPU CET 2025 is held via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode wherein students have to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) within a period of 150 minutes. Candidates are required to note that the merit of the entrance test will be only valid for 1 year.

The IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 is decided & prescribed by the exam conducting authority i.e., Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It is mandatory for the students to satisfy the specific eligibility conditions for their desired program in order to register & appear for the IPU CET 2025.

Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria to move further for completing the registration process. The IPU CET Registration 2025 can be done via online mode tentatively from the 1st Week of February 2025. The registration window is expected to close in the Last Week of March 2025.
To register, candidates are required to navigate “ipu.ac.in” & go to the “Candidate Activity Board”. After registration, students have to fill in the IPU CET 2025 application form by logging in using their ID & password & then upload the requisite documents as per the prescribed format. After completion, examination fee of Rs. 1500/- has to be paid by the students via any of the accepted online modes of payment.
* Students need to note that they will have to pay the additional processing charges & GST, if any and as applicable, while filling in the application form for the IPU CET exam.

The IPU CET 2025 is held for admissions in UG, PG & Ph.D programs in various disciplines and therefore, the syllabus for each program is different. The IPU CET 2025 exam is conducted once a year. The IPU CET Exam Pattern 2025 states that the entrance exam will be held for a duration of 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a maximum of 400 marks. It is to be noted that the differently abled students will get an extra time of 50 minutes.
There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) asked in the question paper in English language only, wherein each question will have 4 responses. Every question carries 4 marks. There will be -1 negative marking for wrong answers & no deduction in marks will be applicable for un-attempted questions.
* The questions for the B.Ed Program will be asked in both English & Hindi languages.

The IPU CET 2025 exam’s conducting body will conduct the entrance test in approximately 13 cities of India. Students have to select the preferred city test centres in which they wish to appear for the exam while filling in the application form.

* Once the exam centre has been allotted to the candidates, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
* If the 1st & 2nd option for the test centre are not invoked or due to any reason then, he / she will be allotted the Delhi centre.
The conducting body has regulated certain instructions that the appearing candidates have to strictly follow on the actual exam date of the IPU CET 2025. Some of those guidelines are given below in detail:
* Photocopy / softcopy / scanned copy of the identity card will not be acceptable.
* If a candidate's name has changed after marriage then, she is required to produce her Original Matriculation Certificate & Marriage Registration Certificate / other documentary proof for identification on the exam day.
Students are advised to solve the past year question papers of the IPU CET 2025 to analyse their preparation levels. Solving the IPU CET Previous Year Papers on regular basis helps the candidates reducing their anxiety & gaining confidence to solve the questions more accurately.

The University level IPU CET entrance exam is held by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for offering admission to the qualifying candidates in the UG, PG & Ph.D courses that are offered by the University itself, its constituent units, and its affiliated colleges / Institutes, respectively.
The registration portal for the IPU CET 2025 exam is likely to open in the 1st Week of February 2025 & is expected to close in the Last Week of March 2025.

The maximum age limit for the Undergraduate courses through IPU CET is 21 years & 35 years for the Postgraduate courses, respectively.
