The GUJCET exam pattern 2025 states that the test will be conducted offline in Pen and Paper-based mode in 3 mediums / languages i.e., English, Hindi, Gujarati. Aspirants of the GUJCET have to attempt all the questions in the paper within the time frame of 3 hours.
As per the GUJCET pattern 2025, the exam will be divided into 2 papers which are Physics & Chemistry (Paper 1) and Mathematics / Biology (Paper 2). There will be 120 MCQ based questions (40 questions per section). The exam will be held for a total of 120 marks where 1 mark will be awarded for every right answer.

According to the GUJCET paper pattern 2025, the entrance exam is divided into 3 sections as per the 3 subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology. There will be a total 120 questions that have to be attempted within 180 minutes. The question paper contains overall 120 marks.

The GUJCET marking scheme is designed by the authorities to ensure a fair evaluation of the candidates’ performance in the exam. The below-listed marking criteria will be followed to decide the overall marks of the candidate in the GUJCET 2025 exam:
As per the GUJCET Syllabus 2025, aspirants of the entrance exam will have to prepare on the basis of the prescribed curriculum of class 12th science stream. Students can refer to the NCERT textbooks of class 12th science in order to understand what topics are going to be covered in the GUJCET exam.
The GUJCET exam syllabus will cover the topics of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology. Students have to prepare for the exam on the basis of the course they have chosen. Engineering candidates will have to go through the topics of PCM subjects. Whereas, for choosing a Pharmacy course through GUJCET, students will have to prepare for the topics of PCB subjects.

In accordance with the GUJCET exam pattern 2025, the negative marking of -0.25 is applicable for each wrong answer in all the sections of the test paper.
