The GUJCET Registration 2025 window without late fees was closed on 7th January 2025 and with late fees, it was closed on 15th January 2025 by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (exam conducting body).

The GUJCET 2025 exam date is released; as per the latest official notification, it will be conducted on 23rd March 2025. The GUJCET - Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission in Undergraduate programs in Engineering and Pharmacy discipline offered by the various prominent Institutions / Colleges / Universities located in Gujarat.

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test or GUJCET is conducted on State-Level by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar. Aspiring candidates who will qualify the GUJCET exam 2025 will be able to seek admission in the Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (B.E / B.Tech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses offered by the prestigious Institutions / Colleges / Universities situated in the state of Gujarat.

The GUJCET is a Pen and Paper-based Test which is conducted once a year at approximately 34 test centres. The entrance exam will be held for a duration of 3 Hours (180 Minutes) in English, Hindi, and Gujarati medium / language.

The GSHSEB i.e., the exam conducting body will begin the GUJCET 2025 Registration process from 17^th December 2024. The registration will be done online on “gseb.org” (the exam conducting body’s website). Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the GUJCET exam 2025 till the last date which is 31^st December 2024.

Once the registration starts, students need to navigate “gseb.org” and enter the Email ID & Mobile Number and create a password to register for the exam. Afterwards, they need to pay the examination fee and login with the required credentials on “gseb.org” or “gujcet.gseb.org” to complete the process by filling in the details of the application form.

Every year, the GUJCET exam syllabus is set by its conducting body which is Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar. The syllabus is designed on the basis of Class 11^th and 12^th curriculum prescribed by the Gujarat State Board. In the GUJCET 2025 Syllabus, following subjects are included:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology

* Students seeking admission in the Engineering / Technology program need to study PCM (Group A), PCB (Group B) for Pharmacy courses. Moreover, the PCMB (Group AB) is for admission in any of the Engineering and Pharmacy programs.

The exam will be held in the Pen and Paper-based mode on Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet in accordance with the GUJCET 2025 Exam Pattern. The authorities have set the time limit to appear in the exam which is 3 Hours (180 Minutes). For admission in Engineering Course, the exam paper will comprise questions from PCB / PCMB group. Whereas for admission in the Pharmacy course, the test paper will include the questions from the PCB / PCMB group.

In the GUJCET exam 2025, there will be a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs); 40 MCQs from each subject. 1 Mark will be awarded to the candidates for every correct answer and -0.25 marks will be negatively marked for every incorrect answer.

On the test day, aspirants need to follow the guidelines / instructions to avoid any consequences at the examination centre. Refer to the below-given points to know the guidelines:

• Students should report at their allotted exam centre before the beginning time of the test in order to complete all the essential formalities without any problem and delay.
• For verification purposes, students need to carry their admit card and a Valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Driving Licence, etc.) at their allotted test centre. If any candidate fails to do this, he / she will be prohibited from the exam.
• Candidates are not permitted to bring any e-devices and personal belongings inside the examination hall.
• If invigilators find students involved in any unfair practices, in such cases, the authorities will take a strict action against them which can also lead them to be exempted from the entrance test.
• Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall until the test time gets over.
