Both Indian & Foreign nationals fulfilling the GMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 are eligible to take the Entrance Exam. The information regarding eligibility is also available on the official website of its conducting body, Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) on “mba.com”. As per the latest updates, GMAT Exam is known as GMAT Focus Edition / GMAT 11th Edition exam.

Academic Qualifications
GMAC (the conducting body) has not prescribed any academic qualification requirement to appear for the GMAT exam officially. Thus, any student / working professional who meets other specified criteria are allowed to take the entrance exam.
Qualifying Marks
There are no such official minimum qualifying marks specified by the conducting body. Students aspiring to take admission in the MBA and Graduate Business Programs must qualify the minimum qualifying marks set by the Institution / College / University (if any) in which they wish to study.
Age Limit
- Aspirants must be at least 18 years old to be able to appear for the GMAT exam.
- Students whose age is between 13 to 17 years will be allowed to appear for the GMAT 2025 test at the Exam Centre only if they show a consent letter written by their Parent / Guardian before scheduling the examination.
Nationality
As per the GMAT eligibility criteria 2025, candidates belonging to different nations are eligible to apply for GMAT 2025 examination. Students appearing for the exam in other countries must ensure that they have valid Passport / ID proof issued by the respective Government to prove their citizenship.

On the basis of GMAT eligibility criteria 2025, below-mentioned are some special notes which aspirants need to take into consideration:
- Students must note that they are allowed to appear for the GMAT test only 5 times in a year irrespective of the chosen mode of examination. However, there is no lifetime limit for the same.
- If the students appear for the test multiple times, they need to do the GMAT registration 2025 using the same login credentials every time.
- Candidates willing to reappear for the GMAT exam 2025 will be allowed to appear for the test only after 16 days after taking the last exam’s attempt.
- If candidates have scored a perfect total score of 805 in the GMAT examination, then they will be eligible to appear for the exam again only after 5 years.
