GMAT Exam 10^th Edition was the previous edition of GMAT, which is now replaced by the GMAT Exam 11^th Edition / Focus Edition. The registration for GMAT 2025 is open as the exam is conducted multiple times round the year. It is conducted in two online modes such as remote proctored and centre-based test; students can opt for any of these modes to appear for the exam The conducting body of GMAT is Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

GMAT 2025 is a MCQ based exam that is conducted only in English language. By qualifying the GMAT exam 2025, candidates will be eligible to take admission in MBA and other Graduate Business Programs offered by approximately 2,400 business schools across the globe. It is mandatory for the aspirants to complete GMAT 2025 Registration from the official website i.e., “www.mba.com” in order to appear for the test.

The GMAT 2025 exam is conducted throughout the year. The students can register on any date for the exam as per the availability of slots. It is mandatory for the candidates to register for the exam at least 24 hours before and maximum 6 months prior to the exam appointment time.

The GMAT result will be made available within 1 to 3 days of completing the examination. Though, in some special cases, authorities may take up to 20 days (from the exam date) to announce the results.

The eligibility criteria for GMAT 2025 has been prescribed by GMAC (conducting body). It is mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the GMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for being eligible to appear for the exam. The age of aspiring candidates should be 18 years or more. However, there is no upper age limit prescribed by the conducting body.

Indians as well as foreign nationals are eligible to apply for GMAT. It is to be noted that any specific academic qualification requirements have not been specified by GMAC to appear for the Graduate Management Admission Test.

Registration for GMAT 2025 is open throughout the year. Aspiring candidates can flexibly choose the examination day as per their preference and availability of the exam appointment date. Registration for GMAT exam can be done through online mode only.

For successfully completing the GMAT 2025 Registration, candidates are required to pay the exam fee of US$ 275 to appear for the exam at a Test Center or US$ 300 to opt for remote-proctored online mode. Any of the available payment methods that can be used for paying the examination fee are Credit Cards and Debit Cards (VISA / MasterCard / Discover Network Cards / American Express). Aspirants can also reschedule and cancel their exam / appointment before 24 hours of exam time.

Having an overview of the exam pattern will be beneficial for the candidates while preparing for GMAT 2025. The GMAT 2025 Exam Pattern includes details about number of questions, type of questions, time limit, etc. GMAT is a MCQ based entrance test. The candidates will be given 2 hours and 15 minutes (45 minutes for each section) to complete the test.

As per the exam pattern of GMAT 2025, the question paper will include 64 questions that are divided on the basis of sections such as 21 questions for Quantitative Reasoning, 23 questions for Verbal Reasoning and 20 questions for Data Insights.

* After appearing for the exam once, candidates must wait for at least 16 days before taking the exam again.

While booking a slot for GMAT 2025, candidates will be required to book the time, test center and date to appear for the entrance test. Aspiring candidates can flexibly book a slot for GMAT 2025 (according to the availability) as the exam is conducted round the year. Even if the students want to appear for the test multiple times throughout the year, they have to register for GMAT only once a year but they will have to book a slot every single time.

* It is to be noted that candidates can not appear in GMAT more than 5 times in a year.

GMAT 2025 Exam Centers are located at different places in India and other countries. Students can choose a preferred city centre to appear for the exam in the test-centre based mode.

It is essential for the aspiring candidates to make an effective study plan and access appropriate resources in order to score good marks in the GMAT entrance test. The below mentioned tips and strategies will be beneficial for the candidates in GMAT 2025 preparation:

• Candidates should go through the GMAT 2025 syllabus and exam pattern in order to get a better understanding about the topics & type of questions that will be covered in the exam.
• Aspirants can create a week-by-week study plan to break the topics into several sections and can gradually increase their study time for better preparation.
• Frequently taking practice exams or mock tests and solving the previous year question papers of GMAT will be beneficial for the candidates in understanding the pattern of questions and will also help in assessing their strength and weakness in terms of test preparation.
• Candidates can also work on their time management skills in order to attempt all questions within specified duration limit on the exam day.
• The students are advised to make notes of the topics during the preparation as this will help them in quick and effective revision.
• Candidates should prioritise preparing the topics covered in the syllabus before preparing for the additional topics.

GMAC (the conducting body) of GMAT has laid several guidelines that are mandatory to be followed by the candidates on the day of exam. The guidelines to appear in any of the test modes are stated below:

For Centre-Based Online Test

• Reach the test centre at least 30 minutes prior to the exam time.
• Bring a valid photo ID that was used at the time of registration of the GMAT exam.
• Make sure not to carry any prohibited material like food, drink, knives, weapons or any other object that is prohibited at the test centre.
• Review the exam policies in order to avoid inappropriate actions that can lead to policy violation.

For Remote Proctored Online Test

• Ensure that there is stable internet connection for a smooth experience during the examination.
• If using a whiteboard (physical), ensure that it is not larger than 30cm x 50cm (12 inches x 20 inches).
• Make sure that there is no one else in the room when the examination is going on.
• Stay in the frame throughout the exam and make sure that the web camera is focused on the face of the candidate appearing for the test.
• Do not keep any prohibited item with them during the examination. Some of the prohibited items are mobile phones, watches, books, headphones, papers, etc.
• The system which will be used for taking the GMAT exam needs to fulfil all the technical requirements including webcam, microphones & speakers, power source, and more.

* If any candidate leaves the frame or system during the exam, except for the optional break, then the exam proctor will end that session and the candidate will not be able to further continue the test.

Since the format of GMAT 2025 will be quite similar to the previous year question papers, candidates are advised to refer and solve the GMAT Previous Year Question Papers to prepare effectively for the exam. The past year question papers will allow the candidates to get an overview of the type of questions included in sections such as Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights.

Candidates can get GMAT 2025 result details through the unofficial score and official score report of GMAT. The unofficial score of the exam will be displayed on the screen immediately after completing the test. Candidates are not permitted to save, screenshot, record or take a print of the unofficial scores displayed on the screen. 

The official result / score report of GMAT will be made available on “www.mba.com” within 1 - 3 days of completing the exam without any additional cost. Aspirants will be notified about the availability of results via email. The official score report will include personal information of the candidate, appointment details, section-wise scores, percentile, and total scores. It is to be noted that section-wise score range of the GMAT exam is between 60 - 90 and the total score range is 205 to 805.

* In some special cases, the official score report can take up to 20 days to be available on the official website.

* Before taking the GMAT exam, candidates are not required to select any business school programs that can receive their official score report.
