CUSAT CAT Exam Pattern 2025: Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

In accordance with the CUSAT CAT Exam Pattern 2025 prescribed by Cochin University of Science and Technology (conducting body), the entrance test will be conducted via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a period of 3 hours. According to the CUSAT CAT Exam Pattern 2025, students who are willing to take admission in the above-mentioned courses have to attempt 3 sections in 180 minutes namely, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, respectively.

In the CUSAT CAT exam paper, students need to attempt the questions of the Physics section in the first 60 minutes followed by the Chemistry section for a period of next 45 minutes. The last section i.e., Mathematics will need to be completed in the last 75 minutes.

According to the CUSAT CAT Exam Pattern 2025, the exam will be held for overall 2 hours. Students will have to attempt 150 questions that will be asked for a maximum of 450 marks. The elaborated distribution is mentioned below:

• 100 questions will be asked from the Computer Science & Applications subject matter based on the Undergraduate level Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology to test the aptitude of the candidates.
