Educational Qualifications
Appearing candidates must have any one of the education degrees from the below-given points:
- Class 12th.
- Intermediate / PUC.
- Senior Secondary School Examination with at least 5 subjects organised by NIOS - National Institute of Open Schooling.
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- AICTE / State Board of Technical Education recognised - 3 years Diploma.
- 2 year course of Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination at Cambridge University / International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- Those candidates who have passed 10 + 2 from outside the Nation or from any other board which is not prescribed above must hold an AIU certificate.
- If the Class 12th examination is not a Public exam then students need to qualify at least one public examination earlier (Board or Pre-University).
* Candidates who are pursuing the final year of qualifying examination are eligible for the CUET UG 2025.

To appear for the exam, the candidate must be an Indian Citizen. Additionally, candidates fulfilling any of the following Nationality criteria are also eligible to apply:
- Residents of Bhutan and Nepal.
- Tibetan refugees who are now residing in India permanently.
- Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and Vietnam individuals who have permanently shifted to India.
Admissions in the Central Universities are provided on the basis of the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of India
