CUET UG Registration 2025: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The CUET UG’s conducting body, NTA, is expected to release the exam registration form in the last week of February 2025. Candidates aspiring to get a seat in any Bachelors Degree course of Central Universities and other participating Institutes through the CUET UG, must register themselves for the exam on “exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG”.

* Students should make sure that they are fulfilling the CUET UG eligibility criteria 2025 to start their preparation as per the CUET UG exam pattern 2025.

Candidates applying for the CUET UG should note down that the registration fee will be charged on the basis of the subjects selected by them. The details related to CUET UG registration fee is as follows:

The fees for choosing centres outside India for all categories is Rs.4500/- (Up to 3 subjects). However, Rs.1800/- (each) will be further charged for the same if the candidates select more subjects.

* State list OBC students who do not fall under the OBC-NCL (Central List) are asked to select the General / Unreserved category column.

Candidates who want to register for the CUET UG 2025 can follow the below specified steps:

Step 1: To register, navigate the website “exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG”.

Step 2: On the homepage, Press the Registration link.

Step 3: Now, fill all the below-mentioned details:

• Personal Details: Candidate’s Name, Fathers Name, Mothers Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email ID.
• Present and Permanent Address.

Step 4: After filling all the information, candidates need to select a security question and enter the answer.

Step 5: Create a unique and strong password.

Step 6: After clicking on the “Submit” tab, an OTP will be sent to the registered email address of the student.

Step 7: Once the OTP is entered, an application number will be displayed on the desktop. Note down that number for further requirements.

*Registered applicants are eligible to directly login on CUET UG’s official website with the already received credentials.

Step 8: To login with the generated application number and created password, return to the official website after completing the registration process.

Step 9: Fill in all the below-mentioned details in the Application Form:

• Candidates Name
• Mothers Name
• Fathers Name
• Candidate’s Date of Birth
• Gender
• PwD Status (If applicable)
• Contact Details
• Address Details
• Exam Cities (Maximum 4 as per the applicant’s choice)
• Academic Details

Step 10: Scan and upload the images / documents.

Step 11: Lastly, pay the application fee through any of the options including Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.

* It should be noted that after successful payment of the CUET UG application fee, a confirmation page will be reflected on the screen. In any circumstances, if the same page does not appear, candidates should immediately connect with their respective Bank / Payment Gateway.

At the time of filling the Application Form, applicants have to scan and upload their Passport Size Photograph, Signature, and PwD Certificate (If Applicable). Check out the below-given requirements candidates must fulfil while uploading the scanned images and documents:

• In JPG / JPEG Format (For both Passport Size Photograph and Signature)

File Size

• For Photograph:10KB to 200KB
• For Signature: 04KB to 30KB

* Candidates must know that the photograph should have clicked recently and it should be either black & white or colour. The photo should be clicked against the white background and there should be minimum 80% of face visibility.

An application form correction window will be opened by the exam authorities for those candidates who want to modify any details in the filled form. The NTA is likely to open this window only once in the last week of March 2025.

• In any situation, applicants must not upload the wrong / someone else photograph, signature, and any other document in the application form or appear at the exam centre with the admit card tempered on some other person's name. It is because in such cases, strict actions will be taken by the authorities against the candidate.
• Candidates should fill the application form with the authentic information to avoid any further problems.
