CUET PG 2025: Registration (Ongoing), Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, and More

As per the official notification released by the NTA, the CUET PG 2025 registration last date has been extended from 1st February 2025 to 8th February 2025. The CUET PG 2025 Registration is open from 2nd January 2025 by the exam conducting body i.e., National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can apply online on the official website of the CUET PG 2025.

The CUET PG 2025 application form correction window which was going to be open from 3rd February 2025 to 05th February 2025 will now be available from 10th February 2025 to 12th February 2025.

The CUET PG 2025 exam will be held between 13th March 2025 to 31st March 2025. The authorities will activate the CUET PG admit card 2025 link on the exam’s official website 04 days before the actual date of the examination.

The UGC has announced updates in the exam pattern of CUET PG 2025 with an official notification. According to the updates, the exam will be conducted for 90 minutes instead of 105 minutes. Moreover, the exam medium will be Bilingual and the General Paper will be re-designed by the authorities. Also, the admission in the programs will be based on the scores achieved by students in CUET PG and according to the guidelines of UGC.

CUET PG is an entrance test for students aspiring to take admissions in postgraduate programs in the Central Universities and other participating Institutions / Universities. The exam is conducted every year by NTA i.e., National Testing Agency. The exam is conducted online in CBT mode.

The CUET PG 2025 exam is likely to be scheduled in 2^nd Week of March 2025 and the conducting body i.e., NTA will release the official notification of the exam expectedly in November 2024.

The registrations for the CUET PG 2025 exam has been started from 2nd January 2025 till 8th February 2025. Students are advised to complete the registration and fill the CUET PG 2025 registration online on the official website.

The students must pay CUET PG 2025 exam fees to confirm their registration & application. Below-given table contains the details related to applicable exam application fees for candidates:

The CUET PG 2025 Admit Card will be released by the authorities soon before the exam date. Once released, it can be downloaded from the official website i.e., ‘exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG’. The CUET PG admit card for the upcoming exam will be issued by NTA (the conducting body) and it will contain details about the exam date, the chosen shift, and the allotted exam centre to the candidate.

There are various Test Practice Centres (TPCs) available for the candidates from which they will be allotted with an appropriate one to appear for CUET PG 2025 examination.

There are approximately 300 exam centres available in India and around 24 abroad. To get an allotted TPC, candidates must choose their preferred CUET PG 2025 Exam Centres while filling in the application form.

CUET PG is considered one of the toughest entrance exams for PG-level courses; candidates need effective strategies to pass this national-level test. To prepare effectively for the exam, candidates can follow the below-given CUET PG 2025 Preparation Tips:

• Candidates must arrive at the exam centre before time to complete all the formalities.
• Carry a valid photo ID like Aadhaar / PAN for verification purposes.
• Students must carry a printed copy of the Admit Card along with them on the exam day.

Students must solve the CUET PG Previous Year Question Papers to get an understanding of what type of questions will be there in the exam paper.

The conducting body - NTA is expected to release the previous year sample papers in December 2025 for the students to practise and achieve ease with solving the papers. Students can access these previous exam papers on the official website.

Students can access the CUET PG 2025 Mock Test on the website ‘www.nta.ac.in’ to practise for the final exam. The Mock tests are designed by the authorities for students to get familiar with the exam pattern.

The mock tests will include the same sections and number of questions as the main CUET PG exam. Students will need to complete the test in actual exam time i.e., 1 hour 45 minutes.

The CUET PG 2025 Answer Key will be released by the authorities soon after the commencement of the main exam. This key will contain the correct answers of the main exam questions. Students can match the answers they have attempted with the correct answers given in the key. It will help the candidates get an idea about the expected results.

The exact date of releasing the answer key for the CUET PG 2025 exam is not announced by the authorities. Students are advised to keep checking the official website to get updates.

The CUET PG 2025 Results will be released only after the commencement of the exam. The release date of results is not out yet but it is expected to be declared soon by the exam authorities.

Once the results are announced, students will be able to access the same through the official website. They need to login with the accurate credentials to download their score card which will include the students’ overall percentile, marks achieved in each subject, and the secured rank in CUET PG 2025 exam.

The CUET PG 2025 Cut Off list will be released once the results are declared. The cut-off includes the minimum marks / set benchmark students must score to qualify the examination and to get admissions in their dream University.

Apart from the cut-off list released by the authorities on the official website, the Universities also release their particular cut-off lists to take admissions on its basis. Students must check these particular lists before applying for admissions in any University.

The CUET PG 2025 selection process for every participating University may vary. Once the results are declared, the qualified students must proceed for the counselling / selection process which can be different for every University.

To get admissions, students must meet the selection requirements of the particular University. As per the selection process, the Universities shortlist the candidates and invite the finalised students to complete the admission process.
