CAT 2024: Result (OUT), Cutoff, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, and More

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has announced the CAT 2024 Result on 19th December 2024. Students who have appeared in the CAT 2024 exam can check and download their result on “iimcat.ac.in” (the exam’s official website) by using their login credentials which are CAT ID and Password.

IIM Calcutta has released the CAT Response Sheet 2024 on 29th November 2024. The CAT 2024 Provisional Answer Key will be released by the authorities on 3rd December 2024.

The CAT 2024 exam was conducted in 3 shifts / slots that concluded successfully on 24th November 2024 by IIM Calcutta. As per the analysis of the exam, the overall difficulty level of the CAT paper for all 3 slots were moderately high. A major change has appeared this year in the CAT 2024 exam, that is the total numbers of questions were increased from 66 to 68. In the DILR section, there were a total of 22 questions instead of 20. Moreover, from the VARC section, no Parajumbles questions were asked.

CAT entrance exam is conducted every year and CAT exam 2024 will be held across 170 cities in India. The exam will be conducted in three sessions on 24^th November 2024.The exam conducting body i.e., IIM Calcutta has closed the registration for CAT 2024. The CAT admit card has been released by the authorities on 5th November 2024 and students can access it from the exam’s official website i.e., “iimcat.ac.in”.

The exam conducting body has released the CAT Mock Test 2024 link on “iimcat.ac.in”. To appear in the mock test, students can click on the URL available on the official website of the exam and enter required credentials. The duration of the mock test is 120 minutes. However, the authorities provide extra compensatory time of 13 minutes and 20 seconds to candidates belonging to the PwD category.

The CAT 2024 Result is declared on 19th December 2024 by the exam conducting body i.e., IIM Calcutta. Candidates are required to visit the exam’s official website that is “iimcat.ac.in” to check their CAT result 2024. As every year results, the CAT exam result will be in percentile format. Candidates will get section-wise and overall percentile on their scorecard.

The Common Admission Test, popularly known as CAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcultta. * Candidates with prior work experience are preferred during admissions in IIM. However, students with no prior work experience are also eligible to apply for CAT.

Candidates who are eligible to apply for CAT Exam 2024 can process for registration. The candidates can complete their CAT registration 2024 from 1^st August 2024 - 20^th September 2024.

CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on 24^th November 2024. Candidates can complete their CAT 2024 application form with the process given below:

• Look for the ‘new candidate registration’ option.
• Enter the required details like candidate’s name, date of birth, contact number, email ID, nationality, etc.
• Fill the CAPTCHA code as shown on the screen.
• You will receive an OTP for verification on your contact number.
• Your login credentials will be shared on your registered e-mail. Log in using the same.

• Upload the required documents including the candidate's passport size photograph and scanned signature.

Many aspirants appear for the CAT exam every year which makes it tough for students to rank high. Mock Tests are designed to help the candidates make their chances of clearing the exam with the highest percentile. CAT 2024 Mock Test will be released by the authorities on the official website approximately a week prior to issuing the CAT Admit Card. Every management college or institute may have their unique process for selection of candidates after declaration of CAT exam results.
