BCECE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Check Nationality, Age Limit, Aggregate Score & Qualifications

The BCECE eligibility criteria 2025 prescribed by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board states that candidates who are Indian Nationals and have cleared 12^th Standard with the respective subject combinations are eligible to take the BCECE 2025 exam.

The aspirants willing to take admission in the Pharmaceutical & Medical Programs must be at least 17 years old and those who wish to get admission in the Agriculture courses should be minimum 16 years old. Students who are selected (except for the Engineering program) must clear the medical examination.

 Age Limit

There is no age criteria prescribed by the conducting body i.e., Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admission in Engineering Programs through BCECE. However, for Pharmaceutical & Medical Courses, students should be at least 17 years old.

Nationality

As stated in the BCECE eligibility criteria 2025, only those candidates who are Indian nationals will be allowed to take the exam.

Nativity

In order to meet the nativity criteria, applicants’ parents should be any of the following:

• Natives of Bihar
• Registered refugees
• Residents of different state but work under the Government of Bihar
• Employees of the Bihar Government before cadre reconstruction and are still relocated and posted in Bihar / Jharkhand
• Posted in Bihar as employees working for the Government of India / workshops operated by the Central Government / the Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.
• Employees of the League of Nations & are urgently posted in Bihar.

Note: Students who have not completed their education in Bihar but are claiming the BCECE eligibility criteria 2025 on the basis of the fact that their parents have been a permanent resident of Bihar for 10 years or more must produce a Certificate. The Certificate should be issued by the Institution from where the student is currently studying along with his / her permanent address that is recorded in the Admission Register of the Institution.

*Eligible students can proceed for BCECE registration 2025 to appear for the exam.

* For Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, & Medical Programs, selected candidates will have to undergo medical examinations conducted by doctors. Only those students who will clear the medical examination will be offered admission to the respective courses. A separate fee will be charged for the same.

*Total 1/3^rd seats will be reserved for the female candidates (residents of Bihar) course-wise & category-wise in every participating institute & college.

* 5% seats will be reserved in every College / Institution under the Disabled Quota (DQ).

*For the Service Men’s Quota (SMQ), seats will be reserved as per the rules.
