The minimal requirement for admission into the B.Tech Biotechnology Engineering programme is a 50% cumulative score in the subjects - Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics in the 12th grade, or any degree of an equal qualification from a recognised board.
At some Universities or Colleges, Biology is not a mandatory subject in class 12th. However, if someone has studied biology in 12th standard, it will be beneficial as it is going to help during the B.Tech programme.
