Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, shortly called by the name SKUAST Jammu, is a multi-campus university with its headquarters located at Chatha, Jammu. The University started its academic curriculum from the year 1999 following the amendment of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982 in the State Legislature. The territorial jurisdiction of the university includes Kathua, Poonch, Samba, Udhampur, Jammu, Doda, Ramban, Rajouri, and Kishtwar. SKUAST Jammu is a “State University” approved by UGC and is accredited by ICAR and VCI. There are eight Research stations and nine Krishi Vigyan Kendras in the University set-up in different agro-climatic zones.

Mission: SKUAST Jammu’s mission is to become a leading agriculture university to provide its services to the people of Jammu division, state, and the nation.

The agriculture university provides degrees including B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture/Horticulture, B.V. Sc & A.H, B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering/Biotechnology/ Dairy Technology, M.V.Sc, M.Sc Basic sciences stream, M.Sc in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry and Agricultural Engineering, etc.

Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy, Narhe was established in 2005, for higher studies in the field of Pharmaceuticals. The institute is a part of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It has been accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE as well as PCI.

Vision & Mission: The whole and sole vision, mission or objective of the institute is to create quality professionals in the field of pharmaceuticals, in order to meet with the current demand in this field, through standard teaching-learning process, and also guide the students to achieve remarkable academic scores.

SIOP provides UG, PG and Ph.D courses in the field of pharmaceuticals, which include programs such as, B.Pharm and M.Pharm.

Rani Channamma University was established in 2010. RCUB has constituent units through which various programs are provided to students. The University has 3+ autonomous colleges, 380+ affiliated colleges, and 20+ post graduate departments which are functioning under 9 schools. It is a State University approved by UGC.

Mahant Laxminarayan Das College, is a part of “Shiksha Pracharak Samiti Raipur”, and its foundation was laid down in the year 1997. The college is approved by UGC and has been accredited by NAAC. The college is affiliated with Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (PRSU). It is a co-ed college which provides education in the departments of Arts, Science, & Commerce.

Vision: To provide education to the students, in various stream, so that their lives can be impacted in a good way, through the capabilities and knowledge they gain from their learning’s.

Mission: To promote dissemination of knowledge among the students in a cost effective way, so that anybody can have access to quality learning and in turn they can contribute in the fulfillment of the objectives of national development.

Major undergraduate and postgraduate courses provided by the college are BA, BBA, B.Com, M.Com, PGDCA, BCA, etc. Apart from these some value added courses related to yoga and fitness are also provided by the college.

The Government of Jammu & Kashmir founded the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University by an act passed in the J&K Legislative Assembly, in 2002. The University is working as a “State University” with the approval of UGC. It is approved by AICTE also.

Vision: The University was founded with a vision to work constantly for the development of humans via Science and Technology and moral beliefs of the nation.

Mission: Its mission is to prepare its students to transform them into intellectual adventurers and capable of shaping the future of the nation.

BGSB University is a multi-disciplinary university. It provides quality education in social sciences, humanities, science and technology, management, arts, etc. In all, the university is running 56 programs at various levels in the eight schools functioning under it.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University was established in 1995 by the name of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology. It was later changed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur and then again changed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University. It aims to be identified for professional studies catering to the needs of society and industry. The University is committed towards the holistic development of the students, develop technically competent individuals imbibed with theoretical, managerial, and analytical skills, and impart ethical values amongst the students. It is a State University approved by UGC and AICTE.

Mewar Law Institute is recognised by Bar Council of India (BCI), UGC and affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut. It is situated in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and was founded in the year 1996. The college’s objective is to provide value based higher education and develop professionalism in the students for their overall development.

In the year 1989, Farik Mohan University came into existence by an act passed by the Government of Odisha under the Odisha Universities Act, Section 32. It was established to deliver world-class and need-based education to the youth so that they can represent their society and nation at national and international levels. This university is UGC-approved and NAAC-accredited. This state university offers regular and self-financed PG, UG, and Ph.D courses to students

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit was founded in the year 1993 at Kalady, Kerala to provide quality knowledge in Sanskrit language. In due course of time, the university expanded its academic curriculum to provide education in Indian and Foreign languages, Social Sciences, and Fine Arts besides Sanskrit. In 2005, it got ‘State University’ status with the approval of UGC. The university is also accredited by NAAC.

Vision: The Vision of the university is to provide education for self actualisation and transformation of the students such that they become critical thinkers with right outlook, understanding, and scientific temperament.

Mission: The University aims to achieve its mission of interpreting the historical heritage of India embedded in the Sanskritik traditions to the entire world. It works to bring changes to the society for overcoming the challenges of life.

The University runs 26 research programs, 25 post graduate programs, 20 M.Phil programs, 10 undergraduate programs, 9 certificate courses, 2 PG diploma programs, and 1 diploma program. It is the first university in the state to implement an Outcome Based Teaching, Learning and Evaluation (OBTLE) system at the postgraduate level. Central University of Jammu was established in 2011 and provides higher education in domains of Management, Humanities, and Engineering. Its emphasis is towards holistic development of students by imparting high quality education. It is approved by UGC.

Gyan Jyoti College was established in 2005, under Vivekananda Academic Foundation. It is a self financed, private college, which is affiliated to University of North Bengal and accredited by NAAC.

Vision & Mission: The vision and mission of college is based upon the principle of providing and promoting great education facilities and career opportunities for the students, for their growth, as well as to make them capable of contributing in the development of the nation, through their social and professional skills and capabilities.

Nowrosjee Wadia College was established under the Modern Education Society, in the year 1932, in order to provide higher education in arts and science. It is an autonomous college which has been accredited by NAAC, and is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Tumkur University was established in the year 2004 as a state university to cater to the academic and practical needs of students by providing them with world-class academic pedagogy. PDEA’s Annasaheb Magar Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune and recognised by the UGC. The college is located in Pune, Maharashtra and was established in the year 1971.

It was founded in the year 2003 and is recognised by the Bar Council of India & Government of Maharashtra. The college located in Pune, Maharashtra was started with an objective of imparting quality education to all the students without any discrimination.

Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University came into existence in 2003 under an Act of Government of Gujarat to fulfill the academic needs of the people of Kachchh. This university is approved by UGC and AICTE.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Basar - RGUKT Basar has been in existence since 2008. RGUKT is a residential university with its three campuses located at Basar, Nuzvid, and R K Valley. At present, Basar campus is the only one that is operational due to bifurcation of the Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2015. The University is approved by AICTE.

Vision: The University was set up with a vision of imparting quality education related to technology to the rural youth who wish to pursue higher education in a world class ambiance through a blend of modern day education with traditional teaching.

Mission: Its mission is to become a knowledge hub for professionals in different engineering disciplines and to develop the campus as a research-oriented institute.

RGUKT Basar admits top 1% of the rural students providing educational opportunities to the meritorious rural students. The university runs a six year integrated B.Tech program in CSE / ECE / ME / EE / CE / Chemical Engineering / Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, and M.Tech in CSE / ECE / Computational Mechanics in Mechanical Engineering.

Kannada University was established in 1991 by the Government of Karnataka with an aim to explore the diverse culture and ethics of Karnataka and provide knowledge in Kannada. It is a State University approved by UGC.

Vision and Mission: Its aims is to become a premiere institute specialising in Karnataka Studies and is committed to promote multidisciplinary research on society, culture and economy in Kannada, study of linguistic practices in society, establish community and academic links, and develop methods to meet research practices of the community.

Islamic University of Science and Technology was established in 2005. It was established to provide knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to students and is committed to impart quality education and research which caters to the societal needs. The University provides an environment for research and learning in the domain of humanities, social sciences, science, and technology. It fosters creativity, diversity, and expertise amongst students to make them future leaders, policy and decision makers, nation builders, creative researchers, and artists. IUST is a State University approved by AICTE and UGC, recognised by INC and AIU, and accredited by NAAC.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad is an Autonomous Institute formed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Karnataka Government and Keonics (industry partner) as partners and by an act passed in the parliament in 2017. The institute was set-up to provide education in IT and allied areas. It is approved by MHRD.

Vision: The institute is working with a vision of being acknowledged globally as a premiere institution of information technology.

Mission: Its mission is to produce IT professionals who have professional skills, moral values, and are concerned for the society and environment. It aims to make its students capable of projecting the nation to the forefront of IT research and development.

The institute provides B.Tech and Ph.D degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. Ph.D courses in different disciplines are provided in regular, sponsored (full-time or part-time), and part-time mode.

The institute was originally established in the year 1962, under Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, in the name of Sardar Patel College of Engineering. In the year 1995, self financed courses related to engineering and technology were added in its course structure. Later in the year 2005, a new building was established for the institute, and then it was named as Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. The institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

The Government of Kerala laid the foundation stone of Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University in the year 2012. The regional language university is a “State University” approved by UGC. The University is named after the father of Malayalam language, ‘Ezhuthachan’.

The main aim of the university is to provide education at the postgraduate level in various disciplines in Malayalam language, to encourage Malayalam speaking students towards education, and to make them feel proud of their mother tongue. SIMATS Engineering, also known as SIMATS School of Engineering (SSE), is a part of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences- Saveetha University (Deemed to be University). SSE has been accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE, UGC, & NBA.

Indian Institute of Management Nagpur, shortly called by the name IIM Nagpur started its academic curriculum in the year 2015. The institute is the 14^th IIM in the country set up by the Government of India. IIM Nagpur is an Autonomous University and is a member of The Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The institute started functioning under the guidance of IIM Ahmedabad.

Vision: The vision of the institute is to shape the management policy, system and governance by disseminating high quality education, and to become a premiere education hub of Management education.
