In 2010, the foundation stone of Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT) was laid down in Banda. It was previously named as Manyawar Shri Kanshiram Ji University of Agriculture and Technology. It is a State University approved by the UGC. It also has recognition from the ICAR.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University was established in 2008 as Andhra Pradesh University of Law. In 2012, it was changed to Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University. It was established with an objective of providing quality education, promote research, legal, ethical, and cultural values, and develop advocacy skills amongst the students. DSNLU is a State University approved by UGC.

Vision and Mission: DSNLU aims to become a premier law school and emphasises to promote research, training, and education. It strives to develop and motivate individuals with ethics by providing skills, domain expertise, and knowledge, and strives to deliver innovative and unique methods of teaching for the holistic development of the students.

Established by the Government of Assam, National Law University and Judicial Academy is contributing to the law education in India since 2009. Initially, the university was formed with the name “National Law School and Judicial Academy”. Later, a new act was passed in 2011, and the word ‘School’ was replaced by the word ‘University’. The university is a member of the Consortium of National Law Universities established all over India. It is approved by UGC and is recognised by BCI and AIU.

NLUJA provides BA.LL.B (Hons), LL.M, and Ph.D degrees.

Established in the year 2007, Geeta Institute of Law is one of the college of Geeta Group of Institutions. GIL is recognised by Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management was established in 2010 and is the first cooperative Management University of the Nation. It has 4 pillars which are Research, Education, Promotion, and Training. It is the first specialised University in the nation with a mandate to manage government organisations, small and medium scale enterprises, cooperatives, and agriculture and allied sectors. ARGUCOM is a State University approved by UGC.

Telangana University was founded in 2006 with an aim to provide higher education in the district of Nizamabad, so that education is accessible to all. The University is the third largest university in Telangana. It started its academic curriculum from a PG building of Government Giriraj College at Dubba area, and now has its own three campuses at: Dichpally (Main campus), Bhiknoor (South Campus), Sarangapur (Sarangapur Campus). The university is approved by UGC with a “State University” status, and is accredited by NAAC.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University was established in 1946 and was formerly called College of Engineering. In the year 1972, the College of Engineering became a part of JNTU. In 2008, JNTU was divided into 3 universities which are JNTU Anantapur, JNTU Kakinada, and JNTU Hyderabad. JNTU Anantapur is a State University approved by UGC.

DAV Degree College Lucknow was established in 1918, in the form of a middle school and then it was upgraded for higher education in 1948, with the establishment of various departments including science and arts. This college is affiliated with University of Lucknow, and it has been approved by UGC and Bar Council of India (BCI).

Vision: The College strives to provide better quality education in the field of Arts, Science, and Law, and it also puts efforts towards extracurricular activities, so that students acquire better knowledge and education, not only related to professionalism but also related to their personality development.

DAV Degree College Lucknow provides UG & PG courses related in the field of arts, which include BA, in the department of Economics, English, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, etc. and MA in ancient Indian history. It also provides UG courses in the field of science and law which include B.Sc and LL.B programs.

University of Agricultural Sciences was established in 2009. It aims to become a world class University and is committed to graduate quality individuals in agriculture and allied areas, and evolve efficient mechanisms and cutting-edge technologies to serve the farming community. UAS is a State University approved by UGC and recognised by ICAR.

The establishment year of Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies - KUFOS Kochi is 2010. It is a State University that is approved by UGC. Its B.Tech course is approved by AICTE. It also has recognition from ICAR.

The vision of KUFOS Kochi is to produce technically and professionally capable human resources who can contribute towards the development of industrial sector related to Fisheries and Ocean studies. Vidyalankar Polytechnic (VPT) was established in 2002. It offers diploma level engineering courses to students such as Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Diploma in Information Technology. These programs are approved by AICTE and the institute is affiliated to Maharashtra State Boards of Technical Education (MSBTE). Moreover, all these programs are accredited by NBA.

Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University was established in 2008 and is committed to strengthen the activities of music and arts. It emphasises on imparting quality education and training and graduating efficient individuals. It is the first university of Madhya Pradesh which has music, fine arts, dance, social sciences, and theater faculties. It is a State University approved by UGC.

The Gauhati University was established in 1948 in Guwahati. It is a State University approved by the UGC and AICTE.

Its vision is to implement ethical standards in the thought process and practical implementation of learning by students and to make them responsible citizens and competent professionals. Its mission is to improve present academic structure and resources to enhance the capabilities of students.

Indian Academy Degree College (IADC) was established in 1994 in Bangalore. It is a constituent of Institutions of Indian Academy. It is an autonomous college offering UG and PG programs to students in the field of arts, science, commerce, management, etc. These courses are approved by UGC and the college is affiliated to Bengaluru North University and accredited by NAAC.

Vision: IADC has a vision to be a leader in its domain by providing career oriented education in India. It aims to provide academic programs to students which are integrated with social learning along with scientific learning.

Mission: IADC aims to provide career oriented academic programs to students. It also aims to develop students as skilled, value based, and ethical professionals who can meet future challenges.

Indian Institute of Teacher Education or IITE-Gandhinagar is a State-University established in 2010 with the approval of UGC. IITE has been accredited by NAAC and It offers courses in the field of teaching. The university provides affiliation to over 50 colleges.

Vision: The University works towards focusing on the integral development of teachers by imparting teaching education with the transformative knowledge of Indian tradition.

Mission: IITE mission is to provide interdisciplinary integrated courses in teacher education of international standard.

IITE Gandhinagar provides integrated UG and PG degrees. Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology was established in 1999. It was previously known as Agricultural University, Udaipur. It is the second Agricultural University in Rajasthan. It was established with an objective of graduating qualified individuals, impart training in different domains of agriculture, develop national and international linkages, and providing consultancy and technical services for betterment of the society. MPUAT is a State University approved by AICTE and UGC, recognised by ICAR, and accredited by NBA.

Kongunadu College of Nursing was established in 2008 in Coimbatore. It offers UG and PG courses to students in the field of Nursing. These courses are approved by India Nursing Council (INC) as well as affiliated with Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University.

Palamuru University was established in 2008. Established in the year 2005, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University provides quality education to produce trained veterinary professionals. The University is approved by UGC as a “State University”. GADVASU Ludhiana and its four constituent colleges out of 6 are accredited by ICAR.

The University was set up to serve the livestock and fisheries sectors by disseminating international-standard and quality education, research, and extension. It aims at providing opportunities to students for continuing education in Veterinary Sciences.

Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts was established in 2014 by integrating Government Technical Institutions which included State Institute of Film and Television (SIFT), State Institute of Design (SID), State Institute of Urban Planning and Architecture (SIUPA), and State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA). It is also known as Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts. The University facilitates education and research in the domain of fine arts, design, urban planning and architecture, and film and television. PLC SUPVA is a State University which is approved by UGC.

Vision and Mission: The University facilitates innovation and aims at interdisciplinary learning which is nurtured by practical experiences. It is committed towards creating a centre of global excellence by shaping the personality of the individuals through creativity and innovation.

Since 2006, Rajasthan Technical University has been offering academic programs to enhance the technical education in the state. It is a State University that has the approval of the UGC and AICTE.

Its vision is to provide students with contemporary knowledge of engineering and enhance their skills to make them competent professionals. Its mission is to make students aware about the industrial environment by providing them opportunities to interact with different organisations.

Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University - SDAU Palanpur is one of the four State Agricultural Universities which were carved out from erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University with an act passed in 2004. The University was declared a “State University” by UGC. The jurisdiction of the university is over seven districts, namely: Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Banaskantha, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Kachchh, and Patan.

SDAU Palanpur has nine colleges of agriculture and allied sciences, twenty-five research centers, three Krushi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and seventeen extension centers operating under it. Recently two colleges under its jurisdiction, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry and G.N Patel College of Dairy Technology were transferred to Kamdhenu University.
