Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya - MMYVV Katni came into existence in 1995 following the act passed in the Madhya Pradesh Legislature. It is approved by UGC, as a Private University, and is a member of AIU. The university is known to provide Vedic education based on life and modern education. Homoeopathy University Jaipur was initially started as Rajasthan Homoeopathic Medical College in the year 1965. It was the first Homoeopathy College in Rajasthan. Later the college was renamed as Dr. MPK Homoeopathy Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, named after the governing trust of the university. It got UGC approval as a private university in 2010 and is recognised by CCH. The university is the first to provide a Master's degree in Homoeopathy.
