The establishment of Bihar Animal Sciences University was done in the year 2016 in Patna. However, the university started functioning in the year 2017. It is approved by the UGC as a State University. It is also recognised by ICAR and VCI.

The main objective of the university is to impart academic programs at graduation and post graduation levels related to Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Poultry, and Veterinary Science. Its main aim is to provide appropriate facilities to improve the quality of learning and teaching methodologies.

Kerala Agricultural University - KAU Thrissur was founded in the year 1971 and started its academic curriculum from 1^st February, 1972. The University has eight colleges which offer numerous programs under the faculties of Agriculture, Forestry, and Agricultural Engineering. KAU Thrissur is approved by ICAR. The jurisdiction of the university spreads over the entire state of Kerala.

Vision: KAU was set-up with a vision to transform the agricultural sector for the growth of Kerala's economy through qualified human resources imbibed with requisite skills and adept at technology.

Mission: The University works for sustainable agriculture development to provide livelihood security to the farmers by achieving excellence in agricultural education, research and extension.

The establishment year of Dr YSR Horticultural University is 2007 in Tadepalligudem. It is recognised by ICAR and approved by UGC as a State University.

The vision of the university is to develop suitable human resources equipped with technologies to enhance the expansion of horticulture sector so that profitability for the farmers and nutritional security to the people could be provided. Its mission is to fulfil the current requirements of the horticulture industry by providing talented students equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.

Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Pharmacy (BVCOP) was established in 1993 in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. It offers UG and PG courses to students in the discipline of Pharmacy. These courses are approved by PCI as well as affiliated with University of Mumbai.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology came into existence under the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture University Act in the year 2000 and was inaugurated in 2002. This university was established with the aim to provide all-round development and knowledge to the rural and agricultural communities so that they can become advanced in their field. SVPUAT is UGC-approved and recognised by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR).

East West College of Pharmacy is a part of East West Group of Institutions and was established in 1992. The college is approved by PCI, and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law was established in 2006 with an objective to provide legal education, promote research, enhance legal reasoning, address contemporary issues, promote ethical values, and promote legal awareness in the society. RGNUL aims to serve the society by graduating competent lawyers, judicial officers, inquisitive researchers, and socially responsible individuals. RGNUL is a State University which is recognised by BCI and approved by UGC.

The foundation of Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences was laid down in 2010 with the aim of imparting education related to the concerned subjects in Rajasthan. It is approved by the UGC to function as a State University. It is also recognised by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

The vision of RAJUVAS Bikaner is to provide talented human resources, create advanced technologies, and impart knowledge in the field of veterinary and animal sciences. Its mission is to collaborate with national and international research institutes associated with fields of animal, fishery, dairy, and veterinary sciences to remain updated with the latest technologies.

IIM Sirmaur was founded in the year 2015 to provide education in Management discipline and to promote interdisciplinary studies. The institute was set-up and funded by the Central Government. It is approved by UGC with an Autonomous status.

Mission: The institute is set up with a mission to develop professionals with high moral values who can find solutions for a sustainable growth in Himachal Pradesh, India, and the world. It aims to achieve international standards in its teaching and learning as well as research areas.

Indian Institute of Heritage was established in 1989 and was formerly known as National Museum Institute of History of Art Conservation and Museology. It is amongst the leading centers in the nation for training and research in art and cultural heritage. The institute was established with an objective to provide academic guidance and training and collaborate with the national institutions which deal with cultural heritage. It is a Deemed to be University approved by UGC.

In the year 2002, it was granted the status of a Deemed to be University. It is approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC.

The foundation stone of University of Mysore was laid down in the year 1916. It got its approval from the UGC to work as a State University. It is accredited by NAAC.

Goa University North Goa has been in existence since 1984, although it started its academic curriculum from 1st June 1985. Currently, over 60 colleges are affiliated with the university. The University is working as a “State University” with the approval of UGC. It is recognised by AIU, and is accredited by NAAC.

Vision: Goa University's vision is to prepare its students to cope up with the changing world by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and approach to contribute to the betterment of the society.

Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University also known as “KVASU Wayanad" is a public funded university which was established in 2010. The University works towards the development of the animal husbandry/farming activities. It is approved by AICTE and was declared a “State University” by UGC. KVASU’s headquarter is located in Pookode, Wayanad.

Vision: The University envisions of being recognised globally and aims at producing meritorious and renowned Veterinarians and Dairy or Food technologists through research and academics.

Mission: It works on a mission to produce competent graduates and professionals who can lead in the promotion of veterinary, animal science and dairy research. It strives hard to conserve and utilise domestic and wild animal biodiversity.

University of Kashmir was established in 1969. It was formerly known as the University of Jammu and Kashmir which was established in 1948.
