Shadan Women's College of Pharmacy was initiated by Late Dr. Mohammed Vizarath Rasool Khan in 1997. The legal bodies such as AICTE and PCI have given approval to this college, whereas, JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) has given permanent affiliation to the college. The Pharmacy college has provided students with undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the pharmacy field.

Located in Madukkarai, the Ellen College of Nursing is a part of the Royal Group of Institutions which was established by the Ellen Educational Charitable Trust. The nursing college was founded in 2006 and is a private educational institution. The nursing college in Coimbatore is approved by INC. The organisation is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. The institution is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu as well.

The SDPC Surat or Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College was founded in 2005. It is a private college located in Surat, and affiliated to Gujarat University. The institute is approved by PCI and AICTE. The college has received NAAC (NBA) accreditation. It has also received SIRO-DSIR approval and is the only self-financed college to do so. The college has diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses in pharmaceutical science.

The Subash College of Nursing is located in Ramnagar and is a private college. It was established in 2003 by the Sri Srinivasa Education Trust and is approved by INC. Affiliated to RGUHS, Bangalore, the college offers nursing courses- both undergraduate and postgraduate.

Mar Baselios Dental College - MBDC Kothamangalam is Kerala’s first self-financing dental college. Established in 2002, the college is an institution for the minority and operates under the trust - Mar Baselios Medical Mission. Accredited by NAAC, Mar Baselios Dental College is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences - KUHS located in Thrissur. Dental Council of India (DCI) New Delhi, recognises the courses available in this college. Students can also do PhD under the Department of Oral Pathology. This department is recognised as a research centre by the Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Lisie College of Pharmacy is a Christian Minority Institution. It was established in 1977 and operates under the guidance of Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions. The college offers two courses - Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm). Both these courses are approved by AICTE and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). B.Pharm course is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) in Thrissur. D.Pharm is affiliated to the Directorate of Medical Education located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Crescent Institution of Nursing Alathur consists of Crescent School of Nursing and Crescent College of Nursing. It works under the guidance of Crescent Medical Centre Ltd. Crescent School of Nursing started functioning in 2001 and has received approval from University of Calicut and Government of Kerala. Established in 2006, Crescent College of Nursing became the first nursing college in Palakkad.

Both the school and college of nursing is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and the Kerala Nursing Council. Students can take admission in B.Sc Nursing at the UG level and M.Sc Nursing under the PG level at the Crescent College of Nursing. Govt. College of Nursing affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences opened its doors to students in 2006 by offering a B.Sc in Nursing. The college is recognised by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and INC.

It provides undergraduate to doctoral-level programs in nursing. The college was granted approval to be a Ph.D centre in 2019. Therefore, the first batch of research scholars enrolled in 2020.
