Madhav Institute of Technology and Science B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process

First of all in MITS, Gwalior there is no need of 75% in class 12th board examination. There's a mandatory rule of 75% attendance criteria if you don't keep seventy five percent attendances then you cannot sit in examination but if you have valid reason for absent then you can be allowed by applying mandatory documents.

The main motivation is my willingness for DSA. I was not willing to take mechanical and learn DSA, which could become headache for many. I got CSE in round 1 of counseling at 92.48 percentile in 2023. In 2024, it was around 91.7 percentile. Admission process is simple and no interview, test or any group discussion I faced during admission. There are 2 mid semester and end semester exam of a semester. Each semester also have proficiency and practical. You will learn new things, new technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Neural Network, about sensors and working models and many more which will help you further.

The fees at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science increases yearly for upcoming students as I have yearly fee of Rs. 1,07,700 and my juniors have fee of Rs.1,25,650 per year. Tuition fee is Rs. 65,000, registration fees are Rs. 1,500, development fees Rs. 20,000, exam fees Rs. 2,600, and the rest is divided between maintenance, laboratory, library & other fees. I chose electronics engineering because I am interested in both hardware and software. This course is pretty much split between the hardware and software parts. This gives me opportunities in both the domains. The eligibility criteria in the Institute are simple: You have to go through the MPDTE counseling, and you should have a valid rank in JEE with average marks in 12th standard. The Institute also accepts Institute-level counseling after MPDTE. The admission process in Institute is smooth. There's no necessity for you to bring your parents and pretty much you can do everything alone if you know how to ask for help (since I did everything alone). The staff is helpful, especially Manish Dixit sir, so don't hesitate to ask for help. In a year, we have two semesters and in each semester we have three main exams with a practical exam. Now among these three exams we have Mid-semester, end-semester exam. Preparing for these exams won't be challenging if you know what is going on in class and prepare two to three days. Before the exams you will be easily able to score between 7 to 8 CGPA.

Fee for B.Tech for all branches and all castes is the same. The fees for 1st year: ₹1,37,650 and then for the rest of the year it's somewhere around ₹1,07,000. There is no discount based on caste but there is a TFW category (Tuition fee waiver) in which your tuition fees are waived off (₹32,500/year). There are mainly two types of scholarships provided, first one is MMVY which is for those who have scored above 85% in 12th and have their AIR in JEE under 1.5 lakh.
