GVPCE has a Training and Placement Department which provides guidance, support, counselling, and training to the students. The Department helps the students to enhance their Interview Skills, conducts Group Discussions, Personality Development Programs, Seminars, Workshops, etc.

TCS, Infosys, Virtusa, TATA ELXSI, Infotech, Sapient, Areva, Yahoo India, Cognizant, Intergraph, Keane, iGATE, Solivar, C&C Construction Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Kenexa, etc. are some of recruiting companies visiting the campus to grant placement opportunities to the students.

GVPCE has a total built up area of around 44000 meter square. The institute provides State-of-the-Art infrastructure and other facilities which include:

• Library: The library at the institute is well equipped with all the resources and modern facilities such as Books, Magazines, Journals, Video Lessons from NPTEL, access to Online Databases, E-Journals, E-Books, Video Cassettes, CD / DVDs, etc. Library also has a Newspaper Section, Bag Counter, Reading Hall, Reference Section, Issue Counter, etc. and provides Reprographic facilities.
• Laboratory: Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines Lab, Transportation Engineering Lab, Computer Lab, Network Programming Lab, Research Lab, etc.
• Auditorium: The institute has an AC auditorium which can accommodate around 450 members and has sound system and lighting.
• Hostel: Separate hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls. The hostels have all the basic amenities. The boys’ hostel has access to the campus library.
• Canteen: The canteen offers hygienic and delicious food, beverages, snacks, etc. and can accommodate around 250 students.
• Transport: Transportation facilities are provided to the students from all the corners of the city. There are around 14 buses which are responsible for pick up and dropping the students.
• Clubs: There are clubs for extra-curricular activities such as Kala Gayatri, Swara Gayatri, Tennis Club, and Seva Gayatri. The clubs organises inter / intra college activities and exhibitions which helps in enhancing the skills of the students.
• Sports: The Sports Department of the college provides Indoor and Outdoor sport activities for the students. The activities include Carom, Table Tennis, Chess, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Throw ball, Cricket, etc.
• Medical: The institute has a Health Care Center which can provide First Aid, Emergency Medication, Ambulance, etc.
