It was established in the year 2001 under the umbrella of DAV College Managing Committee. DAVIET is present at Jalandhar city in a prime location.
DAVIET is affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognized by UGC. NAAC accredits DAVIET with ‘A’ grade. PTU has recognized the institute as the Best Engineering Institute in 2013.
