JMI understands the importance of placement and believes that every individual should become employable by the end of the final semester. The university focuses on providing professional knowledge and training to the students and for this, a centralised Placement Cell was also established. This cell is responsible for providing placement facilities and opportunities to the students by inviting multi-national and national companies for on and off-campus placement drives. The cell also invites industry experts and professionals for pre-placement talks in which they talk about the industry requirements and other facts. This cell is headed by expert placement officers who continuously monitor the growth of the students and develop their resume-building skills along with career development sessions like aptitude test workshops, pre-placement training, mock interviews, GDs, etc. The students of the university get placement opportunities in various sectors like Government Ogranisations, Film & TV Industry, Media, State Services, All India Services, Sports, Politics, Defence Services, etc. The cell also provides the students with various summer internship programs.
