I would say infrastructure is average. According to me, institute needs renovation. Classrooms are basic, just metal desk and benches, green boarded, etc.

Campus life is good. Greenery is present everywhere. There are less no of students as compared to other institutes, so teachers can better focus on each and every student. As the institute is a 1987 built, the infrastructure is old and rusty but they are maintaining it anyhow. Campus is big and has football, cricket and tennis courts as well as a gym for the students. But they are accessible after 2nd semester only. The library is well equipped and has a large collection of books. The library also has a room for students to study. There's also a student store and a canteen in the campus. The canteen is small.

Overall campus life is decent. It's not too good but still enjoyable if you have a good friend circle. Fests and events are held regularly and actively. The biggest tech fest held here is OJAS. It's known as the biggest tech fest in entire Chhattisgarh. The college has a large crowd there are approximately 750 students in 1st year.Read Full Review

In Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg we have 5 blocks one where Administration and library is there. Another one is where whole first year classes and labs and as well As Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics engineering are running. And another block where Mechanical engineering and Information Technology are running. And another block where Computer Science Engineering, CSE Artificial Intelligence, CS Data Science and Electronics and Communication engineering. And one block for Humanities, and MCA and for MBA. We also have canteen area and parking slot for both student and Faculty, and we also have a big ground for sports. We also have medium size auditorium, and we also have college gym.

In Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg in first year college administration did not allow you to get together with your senior as per the rules of anti-ragging squad. All sports and extra curriculum activities where you can only compete with the first-year student only and as well as celebrate with them only. But when you enter the 2nd year you can get exposure to all the activities which was prohibited in first year and as well as you will get interacted with your senior and they will also help you in future.Read Full Review
