The college has established a Placement Cell that acts as a link between the graduating students and recruiting schools. It maintains strong relations with various schools for offering recruitment opportunities to the students. In addition to this, it also helps the students in gaining practical exposure to school related experiences through various activities. The cell also guides the students to prepare for competitive exams.

The campus of Nalanda College of Education Dehradun is spread over 3200 square meters. It has a decent infrastructure and pollution free surroundings that provides a favorable learning environment to the students. There are spacious classrooms in the college with adequate facilities for making the process of teaching and learning more effective. Several other amenities that are accessible to the college students are mentioned underneath:

• Library: There is a properly stocked library in the campus that caters to different academic requirements of the students. The college library has a collection of approximately 5706 books. It also has subscriptions to 4 newspapers, 11 journals, 4 periodicals and 2 magazines. In addition to these, it also has a collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries and research surveys. The students can also access around 40,000 e-books and 3800 e-journals in the library. A spacious reading room is also present in the library. Book bank facility, photocopying facility, printing facility, and internet facility are also made available in the library.
• Laboratories: The campus has several laboratories which are equipped with various tools and equipment that are used for polishing the skill sets of students. The college has a language lab with audio-visual installation. It is used for making the students proficient at speaking, listening, reading and writing preferred languages. In addition to this, other laboratories that are present in the college are Psychology Lab, Language Lab, Social Study Lab, Mathematics Lab, Science Lab, etc.
• ICT Resource Center: The College has a fully equipped ICT Resource Center that provides practical knowledge about the latest technological devices and their functions. The resource center is also used by the students for making presentations, projects, charts, etc. It also has Wi-Fi facilities for smooth functioning. Printer, Scanner, Projectors, Television, Flash Cards and more are also available in the ICT Resource Center.
• Sports: The College has a Health and Physical Resource Centre that provides various opportunities to the students for engaging in different sports. The college has facilities for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom and more. A gym is also made available in the campus for maintaining the physical health of students. In addition to this, different sports competitions and activities are also conducted in the college.
• Other Facilities: Medical Facility, Canteen Facility, Common Room, Seminar Hall, and Multi-Purpose Hall are also made available for the students within the campus.
