The Smt Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy is located at Gautam Colony, Kamptee which is a suburb of the Nagpur city. The campus spreads over 20 acres of land with a huge infrastructure, supporting all sorts of modern facilities. This includes hostels, laboratories, computer labs, library, conference halls, e-studio, animal house, etc. This well-designed infrastructure creates an effective learning environment for students, resulting in better academic performance. • Laboratories: The laboratories of the college are well-equipped with latest instruments to gain hands-on experience with techniques. To name a few: UV-Spectrophotometer, Auto Analyser, Tablet machines, HPLC, Motic Microscope, etc. Along with these, there are routinely used analytical instruments. The laboratory sessions enhance the learning and researching processes of the students.
• Hostel facilities: The college provides residential facilities to the students separately for boys and girls. Some basic amenities to be found in the hostel rooms are cupboards, chairs, tables, TV, solar water heater, etc. There is a canteen facility as well which provides wholesome food timely. The hostel rooms are available at a convenient rate.
• Library: The library of the college has a collection of over 17000 books. Other than this, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, and other resources are available. It is connected to high-speed internet to provide open access to the online materials. Printing and photocopying services are also facilitated by the library. More than 150 students can use the library at a time. Students can borrow books from the library.
• e-Studio: The college has introduced e-Studio for recording scientific video lectures and webinars and seminars. Every year, the faculty members upload e-contents for live classes, lectures, and practical demonstrations. This makes the learning process easier and more productive. Even some of the seminars are presented in e-studio and get broadcasted through YouTube. It is one of the first pharmacy institutes to install e-Studio.
• Sports & Games: The college facilitates students with an enormous playground to stay engaged in outdoor games like volleyball, throwball, cricket, kabaddi, etc. Students are motivated to take part in various sports competitions and events. Indoor game facilities are available too for carrom, table tennis, chess, and badminton. Besides this, there is a functional gym present within the premises of the college. It provides a convenient space for exercise, ensuring better mental and physical health.
