Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate degree in the field of pharmacy. It is a pre-requisite to get permission for practicing as a Pharmacist in India or other countries.
Any candidate with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for General/OBC) or 45% marks (for SC/ST) in 10+2 level. The aspiring candidate should have a special subject combo (Physics and Chemistry is mandatory with Maths/Biology/Biotechnology) and also UPSEE & AIEEE qualified.
Students can also enroll directly in the 3rd semester with lateral entry. The condition for admission is a Diploma in Pharmacy with an aggregate of 50% marks (General/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST).
With this course, you can make a career in retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, production and manufacturing of drugs, sale, and marketing. You can also gain a reputed job as a pharmaceutical journal editor, medical coder, etc.
The Master of pharmacy is a two-year master degree program with limited seats. Any B.Pharm graduate is eligible to apply with a degree from AICTE or UGC approved Institution. The minimum aggregate should be 60% (General/OBC) and 55% (SC/ST).
Also, GPAT candidates fulfilling the above conditions are preferred. This program is research-based. You can explore various jobs in the research field or academics.
The Diploma in Pharmacy is a two-year course. The applicant fits in this program if he/she has cleared class 10+2 with compulsory subjects’ physics and chemistry, along with an optional subject Maths/Bio.
