Jagan Institute of Management Studies, New Delhi (Popularly known as JIMS Rohini Sector 5) is a Private Educational Institute established in the year 1993. The institute started with the aim to provide higher education to students and build a career in the field of management and computer application. Jagan Institute of Management Studies affiliates to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The institute is accredited by NBA and approved by AICTE. This non-profit organization of education is working under the Director Dr. J. K. Goyal.
JIMS is a platform that fosters knowledge driven apprentices. Using the broad pedagogical structure that determines paramount curriculum and academic skill, the institute aims to attain its motto. They offer BBA and PGDM programs. The admission procedure is forwarded on the basis of IPU CET for BBA, while for PGDM applicants must have their valid MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA or CAT score.
JIMS offers both an online and offline application procedure. The institute organizes entrance test to take admission in specific courses. Selection in the PGDM program occurs based on CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA followed by group discussion and personal interview.
The basic eligibility criteria for UG course is class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. For PG programs students must have a graduate degree in relevant disciplines along with 50% marks from recognized university or institute.
JIMS is among the best business institutes of North India. In 2016, the institute ranked 45th among top 100 Management Schools in India by Outlook Magazine. NIRF placed the institute at the 43rd position among top 50 management institutes. Business and Management Chronicles ranked JIMS A++ on All India Basis in 2016. The institute ranked 2nd on All India Basis in Intellectual Capital and 5th on All India Basis in Placement in the year 2016.
JIMS has a library embellished with books on management subjects required for PGDM. It provides the latest edition of books of different authors, journals, and magazines. The library has an automation facility linked with LIBSYS software access to DELNET.
