IMT Ghaziabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

IMTG is a luxurious campus and the hostel was a luxury there. The boy's hostel that accommodated over 400 students had all the required facilities. The weather of Ghaziabad is hot and hotter, so ACs became compulsory and the hostel had that. The rooms needed some headroom and leg space and it was provided. The mess food was great, but the only thing was that Paneer and mashed Potatoes were served at least one time daily. I had a lot of fun in my previous hostel and at IMTG hostel I saw students occupied with their things and thus forget about a great hostel life. A boy’s hostel with a capacity of around 400 students was operational during our time. The hostel had ACs in each room and geezers as winters are too strong in Ghaziabad. Hostel mess provided us meals timely and though the food to me was repetitive, it was still better than the previous hostel of mine. Hostel was meant for fun but because our assignments never got completed the modern recreation room of the hostel was mostly empty. Getting out of the hostel at will was little difficult but manageable. Thanks to some of our local friends who managed the way out for us when badly needed.Read Full Review

The girls’ hostel of the campus was exceptional and a new one with double the capacity was getting ready. Girl’s hostel was right next to the boy’s hostel but nor the girls or the boys were allowed inside each other hostel buildings. There was a common area between both the hostels and there was no restriction of having a conversation with your friends from opposite sex over there at any point in time. The boys enjoyed a much better curfew time but for girls 9 pm was the deadline and there was no way one can break rules at IMTG. Food was so great that I just went out for dinners out only once in a month. Fees is slightly higher but who cares when you get such facilities.Read Full Review
