Ahmedabad University

Ahmedabad Education Society laid the foundation of Ahmedabad University in the year 2009 with a vision of becoming a global educational institute that imparts experiential education to students. NAAC has accredited the University and it has been approved by UGC.

The University is committed to fostering a learning environment based on cross-disciplinary linkage between professional disciplines, arts, and sciences. Students can pursue Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral programs from the University.

Candidates desirous to get Admission into Ahmedabad University are considered by it based on their academic marks and overall personality. Candidates have to follow certain instructions to apply for courses like BBA (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), B. A (Hons), B.Com Professional, B.Com (Hons), Integrated MS, and Integrated MBA. Instructions are provided below:

• Open the homepage of the University’s website.
• Go to the “Admission” segment and choose the “Undergraduate Admission” option.
• Scroll down to the bottom where they will find the “Apply Now” tab.
• Click on the tab to open the application form page.
• Click on “Create your Account” for new registration.
• Complete the form visible on the screens and tap on “Generate OTP.”
• Follow the process as instructed by the website.

After getting the details, the University will contact the Candidate through the registered contact number or email provided by them. They must track their application status regularly by signing in to the Admission portal.

Candidates who seek admission to B.Tech programs offered by the University need to click on the “Details / Apply” tab provided on the same “Undergraduate Admission” page. A B.Tech Application page will open with all the details of the program. Click on the “Apply Now” option provided at the bottom of the page and follow the same procedure mentioned above.

*In the B.Tech program around 33% of seats are reserved for candidates who have qualified 12^th from the state of Gujarat or who have passed the eligibility criteria and are domiciled in Gujarat. The Admission procedure for these seats will be held by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). For the remaining 67% of seats, candidates will be considered based on merit, decided by performance on the recognised acceptable examination conducted at State or National level as well as their performance in 12^th.

The Academic Scholarships awarded by Ahmedabad University consist of the following schemes:

Ahmedabad Fellowship

A 100% fee waiver on tuition fees will be provided to the students of the Bachelor / Integrated Masters Program. Among the scholars, the top 5 students who are not domiciled in Gujarat will also get a student housing facility along with this fellowship. B.Tech students acquiring a certain AIR rank in JEE (Mains) are qualified for this scholarship. Students who get admission through ACPC and are among the top 500 ranks in the list made by it are eligible for this scholarship for four years. It gets renewed on the basis of academic performance at the University.

Ahmedabad Scholarships

Students are awarded a one-time 100% tuition fee for the second semester during the time of their admission. Students accomplishing a specific academic grade in the present structure of the schooling system can avail of this scholarship. 

Merit Scholarships

The University provides this scholarship program to the highest-scoring students based on their academic performance.

Need-Based Scholarships

The University provides this scholarship program to students belonging to the economically weak section.
