The placement cell at Himalayan Institute of Management is very focused on placing the students in reputed organisations. Himalayan Institute of Management has a decent infrastructure and various facilities that are provided in order to meet the requirements of modern era students. The whole campus has 24x7 Wi-Fi facility for students and faculty members which allow them to access a wide range of online information. • Library: The library contains a range of academic resources for enhancing the overall knowledge of the students. A large collection of reference books and national-international journals is present in the library for the students. Printing and photocopying facilities are also accessible by the students in the library. In addition to this, a digital section is also accessible in the library that contains audio-video CD’s and CBT’s.
• Computer Center: There are fully air conditioned computer labs in the institute. It is equipped with proper internet connection and various softwares. There are approximately 410 computers and 38 printers in these computer labs. These labs are upgraded on a regular basis to offer the latest software and other facilities.
• Hostel: HIM has 2 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. All the hostels have ventilated rooms that are fully furnished. The ambience of these hostels provides a home like environment to the students. The hostel for girls is situated within the institutes’ premises. It also has facilities for indoor games. Facilities for gymnasium, mess and Wi-Fi are also present in each hostel.
• Transport Facility: For safe commuting, pick-up and drop facilities are offered to the students and staff members by the institute. The college has a fleet of buses that covers the entire city and nearby villages. A vehicle for emergency purposes is also present in the campus.
