Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Sciences with its campus in Kolkata is counted amongst the frontline B-schools in India. This B-school offers only two management courses, one at the undergraduate level and the other at the postgraduate level. Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology has granted affiliation to BVBIMS while the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal and AICTE have approved its management programs.
The institution focuses on grooming livewire and young aspirants to transform them into well-rounded individuals who contribute towards industrial growth in particular and national development on the whole. BVBIMS, the brainchild of Dr. Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshi, began its journey in the year 2000. The institute is part of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Group of Institutes which was established by Dr. K. M. Munshi in 1938.
