The Training Placement Cell at the institute is managed by experienced officers who strive to develop a strong relationship with companies, find suitable corporate recruiters, and assist students to find their interested field to work in the future. A Corporate Mentor Scheme has been introduced by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science to enhance professional etiquette and skills among students. Under this scheme, classes are segregated into distinct groups containing 10 participants each and 2 groups have been assigned to one corporate tutor. The institute regularly organises industrial visits in order to provide students with opportunities to interact with experts and professionals who can share their wisdom and experiences. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Sciences with its campus in Kolkata is counted amongst the frontline B-schools in India. This B-school offers only two management courses, one at the undergraduate level and the other at the postgraduate level. Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology has granted affiliation to BVBIMS while the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal and AICTE have approved its management programs.
