In the year 2006, the foundation of ASBM University formerly known as Asian School of Business Management was laid down in Bhubaneswar. In 2019, UGC gave “University Status” to this institute. The University is accredited by BCI and AIU. It is further approved by AICTE.

* For the MBA program, the University conducts the ASBM University Entrance Examination (ASBMUEE) for those candidates who have not appeared in the exams like XAT / CAT / ATMA / MAT / CMAT.
Students of ASBM University are offered with Merit Scholarship programs. MBA students get a monetary amount and students of all the other programs get 20% off on the Academic Fee in the Merit Scholarship. Students have to score at least 60% or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
* Merit Scholarship of 20% is not applicable on Ph.D, MBA, BA LL.B (Hons.), MBA Agri-Business, BBA LL.B (Hons.), and MBA Working Professional courses.

The Power Packed Personality & Placement Grooming Module has helped the institute in enhancing the employability skills of students.
