With a view to provide the students with a smooth placement experience, the institute has set up a Placement Department. This department takes proper care of the students in the placement field by assisting them in their professional needs and necessities. Some major roles of this institute are:

• To prepare the list of major recruiting companies and to establish professional and healthy relations with them.
• To invite renowned companies from all over the country for in-house placement drives.
• To provide fresher’s with rewarding summer internships in companies like Times of India, Make My Trip, Videocon, etc, and to provide them a hand full of experience in the corporate world.
• To organise pre-placement talks, personality development programs, and regular training sessions for the final-year students.

The institute follows a proper placement procedure to avoid mismatch in the ability and the desired skills by companies from students. The placement department focuses on providing the best companies to their students. The placement process of AIMETC is:

• The institute sends updated placement brochures to the major companies and invites them for campus placement.
• Students are divided into groups and the groups prepare proper presentations for companies coming for campus placement.
• After the placement session, the selected students are given offer letters and other employment formalities.

Located at Rama Mandi, Hoshiarpur Road, the campus of this institute is spread over an area of 4.0 acres. The infrastructure of the institute is constructed keeping in mind the everyday needs of the students and the academic requirement of the learner and teachers. The institute has installed proper and fast Wi-Fi services and other major facilities and amenities such as:

• Laboratories: AIMETC has labs that are fully resourced, equipped, and updated. The labs here provide students with great exposure and inventions. The labs here help the students in becoming practically sharp and observant. The institute has Chemistry & Physics labs that have almost all the high-end equipment to boost the knowledge of the students.  Apart from this, the institute also has a Mechanical workshop for various works like welding shop, fitting shop, electrical shop, and carpentry shop. • Hostel: AIMETC has two different three-story hostels for girls and boys with an accommodation capacity of 70+ students. The hostel is being looked after by the warden and other supporting staff. The hostel rooms are equipped with basic facilities required by the students and round-the-clock Wi-Fi, water, electricity, and health facilities are available here for the students. Apart from this, the mess area of the hostel serves food prepared in a hygienic and tidy environment.
• Canteen: The institute has a spacious and hygienic canteen space which provides the students with a wide variety of beverages and eatables. It also provides an area to the students for relaxing and enjoying with their friends and other students. The food that is being provided here is fresh, nutritious, and tasty.
• Sports: The institute believes in promoting the overall development of the students and it is incomplete without sports. The sports department has arranged all the sports tools and equipment for the students which help them in playing their favorite sport.
