There is a Training and Placement Cell in the college that provides assistance and guidance to the students for choosing a right career path. It also focuses on improving the practical knowledge and skill sets of the students that are required in the industry. The cell also plays a significant role in arranging campus interviews and updating students about placement opportunities and current industry trends. In addition to this, it also maintains student’s data to be shared with the recruiters for further process. The cell invites corporate trainers, soft skill trainers, chartered accountants, and other professionals to facilitate training programs for the students.
Various reputed organisations that have visited the campus for offering placement opportunities to the students are Kyndryl, Yes Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, City Union Bank, Indusind Bank, HCL, Congruent Solutions, Infosys, and many more.
SDCAS campus is spread over 9.15 acres of land. It has a decently designed infrastructure and different facilities for catering to the academic needs of the students. The college has properly ventilated classrooms that are equipped with whiteboards and comfortable seating arrangement for faculty members and students. The college campus has a state-of-the-art library which consists of an extensive collection of learning resources allied with different areas of study. In addition to this, spacious and properly designed laboratories are also present in the campus. These laboratories are equipped with the latest tools and instruments that are used by the students for practical application of theoretical knowledge. Some of these laboratories are Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, and Language Lab.
There is a spacious, decently designed and properly equipped auditorium within the campus that is used for conducting different events, programs and ceremonies. The auditorium is fully air conditioned and has comfortable seating arrangements for the audience. A cafeteria is also present in the college that provides freshly cooked meals and snacks to the students at pocket friendly rates.
