It is the reason why a college must maintain a good library as it is the resource for infinite knowledge that students seek to gain. It is also a hub where students can connect with the present scenario through various national and international journals. The central library was constructed in 2008. It is well-stocked with an extensive collection of books. The Central Library located on the fifth floor of Medical College & Research Centre. There are distinct libraries for varied subjects, and there are over one lakh books on different disciplines and subscriptions to printed versions of 396 journals from different parts of the Globe. Their collection also includes e-journals that help the students in staying updated.
They have also subscribed to EBSCO host, DELNET, Maupatra and Clinical Key database that helps in accessing research based articles. The fully automated Central library is available with KOHA open source library management software. It connects with all the computers in the library and different departments, college, and faculty of University. Bar code membership cards distributed to faculty members and students for issuing books and entering the library. There is a separate reading room which has enough space to accommodate many students at a time. The CCTV camera installed in the library ensures the safety of the articles in the Library.
