Navgujarat College of Computer Applications was established in the year 1999, as a part of Vidyabhavan Trust. It is a private college affiliated with Gujarat University.
Vision & Mission: The College was started in order to provide education in the field of technology and also to promote knowledge of great quality among the students who are interested in pursuing graduation program in Computer Science, and want to help in the growth of the nation with their intellect.
The college has been exclusively established to provide a BCA program, which is a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Navgujarat College of Computer Applications provides admissions to students on the basis of merit, as per the applications received by the college. Only the eligible candidates can fill the application form for admission into the BCA program. For admission application the candidates must qualify 10+2 exam from state or any other board with minimum 45% of marks; however the reserved category candidates are required to obtain 40% marks in 10+2 examination. No management quota is provided by the college for admission into BCA.
The candidate must qualify 10+2 with prescribed criteria, in one attempt, contrary to which a total of 15 marks will be deducted for every other attempt.
Admission procedure for reserved category students is the same as decided by the Gujarat University.
Scholarships are provided to the students as per the schemes of Vidyabhavan Trust. Scholarships are provided to the students who are in need, are meritorious, and are needed to be encouraged for their higher studies. The scholarship schemes which are decided by the state and central government are provided by the college to the deserving students.
