SDM Institute for Management Development Faculty Profile, Mysore

The faculties were some of the most democratic people on earth. There were 14 to 15 main faculties and an equal number of subordinate faculties. The College managed to make us study from at least 25 or more faculties. If one says that chopping and changing don't work, then SDMIMD has proved them wrong. All the faculties together looked like settled outfits. The faculties capitalized on their experience as marketing is not about books but practicals. We were given hypothetical situations in classes and used to experiment in at least one class daily. You have amazing faculty on the campus, and great guest lecturers come by frequently, making our PGDM journey all the better. There were both main faculties as well subordinate faculties, that were part of our teaching system. Each one played a key role in our teaching experience. We enjoyed the one-on-one sessions with the faculty as they were friendly and emphasized the importance of being the best in our field and excelling at all levels. Faculties were given license to go and create havoc and they did that by bringing the best out of the students. The College senior-level people used the faculty to solve all the student's problems, and in a way, it is not possible, but faculties still tried to do that. So even for those attempts, I am being their biggest cheerleader. My friends who were studying in different B-Schools said that the faculty over there are creating problems for the students, but at SDMIMD, they were used to solve the student's problems. This is one of the major differences between our College and the other B-Schools.Read Full Review
